tony gale's mic Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 OMG...WTF...ETC. It is very worrying. Only thing that tempers this is the list of very high profile individuals and brands they say they've worked with; though the fact the word "sought" is spelt as "sort" worries me that the list might not be entirely true..
jodrell Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 Iz e tryin 2 b da Pula Niec of Business? No wonder the takeover is taking so long, no one can understand what the hell he is talking about.

Fife Rover Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 True OMGI ... Oh my god innit Sounds like a complete... Sorite Il finish it f u .........dogs dinner!
Veevs Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 Well what a strange chap that Nathenial is.. voted among the most important black people in the UK but sounding like a complete twit on twitter.. Still I guess he must have something given his age and the people he works with.. one would hope so anyway.
PAFELL Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 Nathaniel and the Indians have been an item and working on this since March or April... Would it be fair to say, that this Nathaniel is only doing the introductory work (paid commission etc for doing so) But if the takeover happens, he would not really have anything more to do with the club. Only the indian consortium would then be involved. Brief short words / notes on twitter alone is not enough to completely riddicle / condemn etc a person. Maybe the bloke is a very good business man with a very shrewd head on his shoulders. Of course he could also be a complete plonker and the twitter remarks shows the man as he really is. If so, surround the wagons the indians are coming.
philipl Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 When Nicko first mentioned there was serious interest in Rovers, he did say the person representing them was not serious or words to that effect. Not an encouraging prospect if this guy were to end up representing or working for our club in any way.
Kelbo Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 I am assuming that Rothchilds will be paid for their work, I also assume there would be some recourse if they brokered a deal with people unworthy or unable to invest capital in Rovers?
Pete1981 Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 When Nicko first mentioned there was serious interest in Rovers, he did say the person representing them was not serious or words to that effect. Not an encouraging prospect if this guy were to end up representing or working for our club in any way. What makes you say this because of his typing... All young people type like this it's called abbreviation... How can you say that it isn't encouraging
Torgeir Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 What makes you say this because of his typing... All young people type like this it's called abbreviation... How can you say that it isn't encouraging He's 35.
Pete1981 Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 He's 35. So i'm 29 and i type like that especially when texting on my mobile at the end of the day what he does on his twitter is up to him. All we know he could be a very good buisness man who just happens to type like that.. How do you know people like pdiddy does not do it..
Hughesy Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 He's a agent, brokering a deal, to get a cut - so what! Aslong as the Indian fella has the money to help us progress & has the right intentions then thats all that matters for me - im sure the trust & Jacks will, should make sure that is the case if we sell!
thenodrog Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 Christ he seems less literate than a footballer. What I don't understand is why everyone's assuming we'll suddenly have transfer funds after this takeover. Exactly TGM. This board is full of complete numpties without an original thought between them. btw.... Never heard of Chris Nathanial but after that I'm right off him. What a dipstick. Who does he think he is ?... Ali G? Why or how could anybody take someone like that seriously? Lets be honest would anybody buy a second hand car off him? .... err apart from Pete1981 that is.
Doaksie Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 This has more info - Presumably talking about us LO Saurin, Ive found d perfect team 4 U 2 buy. We're both goin 2 mAk loads of monE This site only serves to highlight a lot of concerns many of us have about dealing with these people (namely Chris Nathaniel), although in reality, unfortunately, this is the way of the modern game. It's not tea and biscuits and cordial chats like I'd imagine it was in Jack's days. The order of the day seems to be impressing people with flash cars, ludicrous promises, meeting in night-clubs and discussing deals on new mediums like TWITter. Hey, it doesn't impress me too much, and I'm sure nobody sane on here, but if this clampet is helping to broker a deal in any way, this is the way it's gonna be. Times change, and Rovers have to move with it.

At the end of the day he is a agent who deals with young people who happens to know how to abbreviate.. Sorry but if yr too old to understand
BiggusLaddus Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 Say what u wnt about me its yr problem if u dnt knw how 2 abbreviate haha... At the end of the day he is a agent who deals with young people who happens to know how to abbreviate.. Sorry but if yr too old to understand Nothing to do with age for me. I'm twenty nine and choose not to write like a halfwit because I have too much self-respect. "Txt spk" is not a life skill.
Pete1981 Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 Nothing to do with age for me. I'm twenty nine and choose not to write like a halfwit because I have too much self-respect. "Txt spk" is not a life skill. A lot of people choose not to write like that but for all we know he could update his twitter from his mobile and its easier and quicker to type like that... At the end of the day he is the agent helping the indian consortium to broker this deal and he probably wont have any say in the club if it gets completed. Im sure the contracts wouldnt get signed if its written like that but im also sure he wouldnt be as successful if he is as thick or a clampet or a complete numptie as thenodrog called him....
gumboots Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 Exactly TGM. This board is full of complete numpties without an original thought between them. I've never assumed that we'd have loads of money if we were taken over, However, presumably until it's sorted one way or another we can't even allow our manager and chairman to spend the little we do have and that's what is so frustrating. Indeed we don't evn know if we will have that small amount ot spend. Perhaps we'll have even less, perhaps just that or perhaps marginally more, a million or two still not giving us huge purchasing power but making it possible to buy or otherwise bring in two players rather than one. Just because the guy chooses to write like an idiot, doesn't mean he is one. I do it sometimes too when i want to be economical on texts. And I am neither young nor illiterate. Don't do Twitter myself because i don't feel the need to update everyone on the boring things that make up 90%+ of my life but presumably if the takeover he's trying to broker is as far advanced as it would appear to be then the guy is not the fool some here seem to think either.
Eddie Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 So i'm 29 and i type like that especially when texting on my mobile at the end of the day what he does on his twitter is up to him. All we know he could be a very good buisness man who just happens to type like that.. How do you know people like pdiddy does not do it.. I'm 23 and I would never type like that and I certainly wouldn't in some public domain when I am trying to portray myself as some big-time businessman with a finger in every pie. Do people watch tv stereotypes of wide-boys in bad designer suits who don't know how to behave and think that it's the key to success?
