I have used windows movie maker to put quite a lot of photos taken on world book day into a little movie which I was hoping to be able to play on the school's DVD system to be broadcasted around school for the children to see themselves.

But it only seems to let me save it as a WMV file and that then won't play on the DVD player - any one help in how I can get it to work on the DVD player????

It would earn me mega brownie points at work and the kids would love it!!! Please help!!!!

Found a how to guide here but I'm sure there are smarter people on the MB who can talk you through it.

Thanks for that! I have just followed it through to the very last step and it has been really helpful but I still havent managed it!

I think I might know why is it to do with I am trying to burn to a CD-R and I need a DVD disk?

Yeah you'll definitely need a DVD instead of a CD.

Got a DVD one now - fingers crossed that it works!!!!

A bit late but may be helpful in the future. You could burn it as a VCD (Mpeg-1) using a CD-R, Nero has the option to burn VCD.
