Ossydave
Just to round off the fun, Brian Laws is confirmed as Manager for next season in the brown (fizzy) stuff. According to who? I know he said he would be in his interview but others may disagree!

tony gale's mic
I know a lot of us were ###### off when they made it through the play offs, but in retrospect this has been a hundred times better than if they'd had just another anonymous season in the Championship. American
No, far from it. But anyone who questioned his 'football decision' may have to think again. Burnley were 14th when he left. Bolton are now 14th. Maybe there was something in the 'sideways' thing after all... Please. He knew they were going down, so he did the pussy thing and bailed before he'd get the blame. 92er
I didn't want Burnley to get promoted, especially as their success was based on a huge, for them, financial gamble. If they had not been promoted they would have been in real trouble. Burnley FC must now be a lot stronger than 12 months ago. They have done well not to blow wide open their salary cap and I would speculate that they did well, financially, by avoiding panicking in January. As a Rovers fan, it would not surprise me if Burnley do better than last season-they might even get in the top 2, with the danger that they would have a better season in the Premiership. Time will tell.

Aye, when he gets the push come November time, I hope you'll find a good job for him down Ewood. If Big Sam ever needs a Bison-head double for any public appearance work in Blackburn, I'm sure Bri will be much obliged for the opportunity.
