JUst want to say thanks for coming up and confirming that BRFC still own you lot. Your gap is now widening and may your demise continue to be swift and humiliating. Tis a joyous day. Order fully restored. No Nay never indeed.

I regret Burnley's relegation, but only because we've lost a reliable 6 points.

How about because they never really threatened us whereas West Ham who have almost certainly survived will strengthen, whether they can afford to or not and will pose far more of a threat to us. I know you can't worry about the opposition too much but without those 6 points we'd be a lot nearer the relegation zone and that makes staying up next season potentially (depending on a lot of other factors, i know) much harder.

I hope you're readying a story about Brian Laws leaving us next week Nicko. :tu::(

Barry Kilby was stressing the 'loyalty card' after the game...

So I would not be holding my breath on a change of manager.

Interesting to see what the budget is going to be.

Well, they wont be paying top wages as that would defeat the objective of this seasons plans and a player who has a high value wont be moving for comparitively low wages!

As I see it, that is the problem and one which I forecast at the beginning of this year!

And I feel they will lose three or four players too!

On the Clarets Mad board, some clown thinks with the parachute payments they may be able to lure Morinho

Maybe so - but we have Newcastle back, along with West Brom & another whipping boy from the play-offs.

We will be fine next year - we are looking up, not down!

After all the early season boasting by that lot I really am happy to see them go down. On the other hand, we will miss the derby and the six points. Mixed feelings? Nope it's hilarious I just think we were in a win win situation. Bye Bye Burnley.

I'm glad to see the back of them. I'll swap a weekend away and a top night out in Newcastle for a tie against the dingles any day of the week.

They reckon they have great fans? With half the dingledome empty at 3-0 down to Man City and only 21k on against Liverpool yesterday they're a second rate club fighting above their weight in the Championship never mind the Premier League. Good riddance to the inbred scum.

Playing Burnley was on my wishlist for years but then this was spoiled by such a low away fan allocation in both matches..Not being able to get a ticket for Turf Moor for me was a big disappointment. If you cant see matches like these then I aint not so bothered about playing them .Might be replaced by Blackpool next season instead if they make the playoffs..

It holds more than 21k Wag, they had more than that on against us and there was segregation and tickets in the home end unsold.

It holds somewhere in the region of 21,500 (maybe a few score more), but that capacity can be reduced, depending on how big a section of segregation the Police decide upon. There may have been the odd empty seat here and there yesterday, but it was a sell out. Most of the sub 20k attendances this season have been due to smaller away followings.

Clearly next season, we'll be in the region of 13-15k. Higher than we had last time we were in the Championship, but obviously we're about to be deserted by several thousand "supporters".

I'm not proclaiming that we have great support btw, just pointing out some facts.

I'll miss the patronisingly ironic cheering from away fans next season when the attendances are announced.

I was under the impression it held more, around 25k.

Did your lads ever get the rebate on the season tickets for this season? What do you think your chances are for next season? I can't see Laws keeping your current squad together.

Some Premiership followings can be a real pain in the @rse and extremely irritating - the likes of Tottingham, Aston Villa and shell suit wearing serial pitch invaders Everton spring readilly to mind. Some consolation in not having to put up with that lot next term I suppose.
