I think the capacity is still officially recorded as either 22,000 or 22,500 (never been 25k to my knowledge), but is actually less due to the splitting of the Cricket Field and other bits and pieces that have seen seats go over the last few years.

I don't think the new Cricket Field capacity has been settled upon, but it sounds like it'll be somewhere between 2,500 and 3,500 - so at best the overall capacity will remain the same. Personally I'd like us to have nearer 25k as I think we can sell out for bigger games, but I appreciate that those games are going to be rare.

As for next season. We should be in a good position to have another crack at promotion, but about 90% of fans would feel a lot better about our prospects if Laws was given the push. Sadly, Mr Kilby doesn't appear to share that view. I'll be in the minority on here saying this, but I really hope I'm wrong and that Laws doesn't squander our healthiest position in years.

Morton - The rebates were issued late last year.

If Kilby has anything about him and has the clubs best interests at heart then I would assume his comments about the manager are just him being PC until somebody better becomes available.

I've got mixed feelings. Of course as a Rovers fan for 30 years it's in my blood to hate them with a passion, but the two matches this season were the first games in ages where we had a proper atmosphere, and the whole day was a little less like the usual sanitised, soulless Premiership matches. From that perspective I'm a little disappointed.

Like Gav, as I said to all the inbreds on here when they got promoted

Can't wait for the season to end and for them to crawl back under the stone they came out from beneath back in the championship

Good ridance and rot

Did anyone hear Adrian Durham on TalkSport? Slating the Dingles for not bothering to show up this season and saying that small clubs like them don't deserve to be in the Prem! Don't normally like the guy but fair play for once!

I agree with smoss though - a guaranteed 6 points again next year would have bee nice...

Durhams just a tit though, i presume he is trying to create calls most of the time with his nonsense.

Be it burnley or anybody I hate this bile spouted about small teams not deserving to be there

Well you might like what he said about them, but i was NOT impressed when someone rang up to suggest genuine young players of the year as opposed to Milner, who is good but is hardly the kind of raw young talent this award was originally for. Nzonzi's name was mentioned and Durham in typical ignorant manner said, "well, he's been all right but if Blackburn can't produce better than that from their own academy, then there's something very wrong." Now ideally we'd all like to see more academy players coming through, but we don't exactly get first pick of decent players in our area and anyway, the question wasn't which young player from your own academy do you think should be young player of the year. It's not Nzonzi's fault that he isn't a product of our academy. Durham always annoys me and when he gets obnoxious as he usually is about our club in that nasty sneering way of his, I simply switch off.

Funny that, Adrian Durham was telling everybody how welcome Burnley would be and how they would always play in front of a full house. The guy is an absolute pr1ck.

After what he said about Todd on the radio when we were on the way back from Cardiff I wouldn't ###### on him if he were on fire. I can't be doing with him, he's the biggest and most ignorant WUM in the entire media..... He'd prob take that as a compliment too.

I usually wait to see how long he takes to really wind me up. Sometimes I can listen for 10 mins without his annoying me, but that is usually when there are 9 mins of adverts, news and his co-presenter talking. I only ever have his programme on because it comes on automatically when I set off from work unless I've remembered to change stations before I get to work in the morning.

And the less said about Collymore the better!

It holds somewhere in the region of 21,500 (maybe a few score more), but that capacity can be reduced, depending on how big a section of segregation the Police decide upon. There may have been the odd empty seat here and there yesterday, but it was a sell out. * Most of the sub 20k attendances this season have been due to smaller away followings.

Clearly next season, we'll be in the region of 13-15k. Higher than we had last time we were in the Championship, but obviously we're about to be deserted by several thousand "supporters".

I'm not proclaiming that we have great support btw, just pointing out some facts.

**I'll miss the patronisingly ironic cheering from away fans next season when the attendances are announced.

* wrong. nearly every game at t`turd i`ve seen on telly (apart from the BIG games) have shown lots of empty seats behind the goal opposite the away end.

**You`ll still be in the bottom 6 lowest average crowds in the fizzy-pop league.

Don`t flatter yourselves
