Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Yet another agent assassinated before the contract was completed. Maybe agent brown will finish the job. Perhaps Double agent Ince could do the job...
Kelbo Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Chairman Brian Kilby told the Burnley website: "I have telephoned Brian today and asked him to step down as manager of Burnley Football Club." Class not even face to face Kilby is out of the country, lets hope not Dubai??? Allardyce would take that side up this year!!
den Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Kilby is out of the country, lets hope not Dubai??? Allardyce would take that side up this year!! I could imagine Sam fancying the Burnley job.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted December 29, 2010 Moderation Lead Posted December 29, 2010 I could imagine Sam fancying the Burnley job. After he said he didn't want to drop down to Championship level? Can't see it myself, he'd do a job there- to say the opinion amongst dingle fans would be divided would be an under-statement!
philipl Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Dingles cannot even do a managerial sacking without getting upstaged!
den Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 After he said he didn't want to drop down to Championship level? The lure of awakening a sleeping giant? Just down his street.
Exiled_Rover Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 The lure of awakening a sleeping giant? Just down his street. A sleeping giant?! You're joking, right?
Amo Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 The lure of awakening a sleeping giant? Just down his street. An ugly, hunchbacked, six-fingered giant?
Mattyblue Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 A sleeping giant?! You're joking, right? If they got in the PL they would sell the Turf out every week... oh.
colin Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Madness! They are in 9th place, 2 points off a play-off place and they sack their manager. What other half-useless East Lancashire club would pull a daft stunt like that?
American Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 The lure of awakening a sleeping giant? Just down his street. He wouldn't take the lack of budget and cap for wages on new players.
Krillin Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Seems like Permatanned Phil Brown may be a good bet.
deryck guyler's spoon Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 The lure of awakening a sleeping giant?
yoda Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Madness! They are in 9th place, 2 points off a play-off place and they sack their manager. What other half-useless East Lancashire club would pull a daft stunt like that? Agent Kilby in fine form puts our recent problems in the shade nicely
JAL Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Agent Kilby in fine form puts our recent problems in the shade nicely Is it a case of monkeys see monkeys do regarding our two local yokal clubs
bazza Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Madness! They are in 9th place, 2 points off a play-off place and they sack their manager. What other half-useless East Lancashire club would pull a daft stunt like that? I don't have to put my thinking cap on for that one, Colin.
Gav Posted January 17, 2011 Author Posted January 17, 2011 Its been a hard week for Howe, playing games with several clubs, now he forgets who he's actually managing
Mattyblue Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Just stumbled upon this on Carrots Mad... 'Is our squad too good?' http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=104&fid=297&sty=2&act=1&mid=2118538543
mhead Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Of course their squad is too good! 5 or 6 should be playing in the Champions league. Gets you rushing to check the League table in the 'fizzy pop'. 32 years...and bound to be 33 years+
Benjimino Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Dingles at work are very worried, Barry Kilby is lining his pockets with the parachute payments and not spending money. This season was there best opportunity to get promoted again but now they dont have a chance I dont think they are competing for play off places with much stronger teams, like Leeds, Watford and Forest. I watched them play against Scunthorpe and without being too biased it was by far the most boring game I have seen in a very long time. The local media said that their game against Doncaster on Tuesday was the worst Burnley have played in a decade. I personally would like Burnley in the prem again because the matches are fantastic but it will not be this season, cant see it being next season either. To be perfectly honest I think we would go down before they would come up!
