RibbleValleyRover Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Dunny limping off (not looking good), Bert on.
Balwer Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Didn't think it was possible for me to dislike Ferguson any more but he just raised the bar again.
G Somerset Rover Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Ferk sake..lets hope Dunny's putting it on a bit (although it sounds bad) to throw a red herring to the dingles.
The Rover of Finland Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 It had to happend, didn´t it? Thanks for double Dunny
RibbleValleyRover Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 I don't want to be critical but Sam should have took Dunny off earlier, he was showing signs of tiredness perhaps even a knock. Lets hope he is fit for Sunday, completely devoid of real creative quality without him.
graddomi88 Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 90+3 MINS: Salgado gives chase upfield, he's running around like its the second minute of the game. Perhaps he wasn't as hurt as he had us think.
Balwer Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Jones might need to bring some of his mates on Sunday at this point.
bennyboyt11 Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Great win for us, well done to Dunn, hopefully this is a scoreline similar to Sunday!
BlueWhiteDynamite Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 is Match of the day on tonight? i couldn't see it listed.
RibbleValleyRover Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Christ we were lucky at the end but thats a win that probably sees us now safe for another season. It wasn't a great performance but at the end of the day its the points that matter. Could be some injury concerns with Dunny and Samba for the weekend.
BuckyRover Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Congratulations Sam. It's been a while since I could confidently expect us to win games, I now can. Great stuff. I hope Dunny is fit for Sunday.
tcj_jones Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Wow, who'd have thought we'd be sitting in 11th a couple of months ago?!
Miker Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Dunn was taken off against Chelsea due to "tightness" in the calves wasn't he? Sounds like it's his calves again now, so maybe it's just a cramp.
philipl Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 All credit to Andrews for playing way above his level but he's just not good enough.
Balwer Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 4 points from the Chelsea-Brum double is great. Hopefully we can carry this in to Sunday, let's just hope that we can field a decent team. Apparently it was Dunn's achilles not his calf, as a result of the clip from Ferguson.
Mr. E Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Great win tonight. How much better could this season have been if Dunny was injury-free?
G Somerset Rover Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Always nice to put one over Big Club. Didn't sound the best performance but it's the win that we needed with such a hard run in coming up. Only worries seem to be Dunn (God please let him be fit for Sunday) and still the lack of goals from our strikers.
Backroom DE. Posted March 24, 2010 Backroom Posted March 24, 2010 Very good result which sees us basically safe. Was a niggly game, but we won and that's all that really matters. Shocking reffing performance, Clatters will be gutted he wasn't able to get at least a point for Birmingham tonight. Ferguson managed to somehow fall even further down in my estimations. Gutted to see Dunn injured again, hope it's nothing serious. Ditto Samba. Our lads took a bit of a physical battering out there tonight. Still, another 3 points and our excellent home record continues.
BuckyRover Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 All credit to Andrews for playing way above his level but he's just not good enough. You have something seriously wrong with you.
Pinch Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 All credit to Andrews for playing way above his level but he's just not good enough. Philip, we've just got to come to grips with Andrews' limitations. Besides, there is a growing contingent on here who are really warming to him...so especially don't complain about him after a win.
