That'll be the last penalty we get for a while then.....

to be fair we have a habit of missing them anyway

Well we've scored 6 this season, plus winning a penalty shoot-out. How many have we missed?

Well it is the Daily Mail so the report has to be suspect:

Referee Mike Dean has been demoted from officiating in the Premier League this weekend. Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson called his performance "poor" in their 2-1 defeat by Chelsea on Saturday, while Dean also awarded Blackburn a questionable penalty in their 1-0 win over Burnley the week before.

Simon Beck, who failed to flag Didier Drogba offside for Chelsea's second goal, has also been demoted and both will officiate at Bristol City this weekend. (Daily Mail)

Who was that Prem ref doing the Forest versus Cardiff game on saturday ? suppose the Mail would have us believe he'd also been demoted.

Dean's already reffed two championship games this season (maybe more), so not much of a demotion. Quality journalism strikes again.

Burnley magistrates heard how Christopher Lee Heffernan, who has no top teeth, got involved in trouble after the Burnley v Blackburn game on March 28.

The jobless defendant was said to have shouted at officers arresting a man in Harry Potts Way: “Leave him alone. We pay your wages.”

Does this thick Dingle realise that he is paying nobodys wages.

One of the good things about getting a penalty, provided you score from it, is that you get to celebrate twice. Once for the awarding of it, and once when Jensen gets made a fool of again. It's a goal scoring BOGOF.

Now I'm not normally one to perpetuate stereotypes .... but some things are worth repeating in full ... so get your teeth into this.

oh dear, is this real....I did not realise that people like this existed; should they not be in a zoo, or be in a secure hospital perhaps?

I've just had an email from someone saying they can't make a meeting next week as they will be at Burnley College all day handing out condoms. That's what I call missionary work.
