deryck guyler's spoon Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 That's beautiful Gumbi, a proper Rovers shirt. .....and the white socks are back
Mc Love Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 I like it - will be making a purchase - might just get jones on the back. Anyone know what fit it will be?
AspRover Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 I have to say, now I've seen that proper picture of the new shirt I love it. I may be in the minority with this, but my pre-order is in.
Steve Moss Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 A very nice shirt. I will be adding it to the collection.
Ben-2000 Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Very good... our Blue & White halves with no flashy red bits... quite retro looking if it wasnt for the sponsor... should always be white socks and of course shorts. Will be buying
JAL Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Looks a quality shirt, colour of logo apart, that shirt highlights all the characteristics that are good about a Rovers shirt just love the alternate colours on the rim of the sleeves just like the old days. Hearing it should be on display in the shops by the end of next week so look forward to seeing the real thing.
Hughesy Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Hearing it should be on display in the shops by the end of next week so look forward to seeing the real thing. You would hope so, its out on thursday!! lol
alexanders Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Considering we have a different size chart in norway I would be very thankful if someone could help me found it which of the sizes would fit a 2 year old. I love the shirt and are going to buy it for me and my son:)
JAL Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 You would hope so, its out on thursday!! lol Can/will the club sell the shirts without the logo on Hughesey, just a thought.
Hughesy Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Can/will the club sell the shirts without the logo on Hughesey, just a thought. Crown logo? No chance mate - they pay for the privilege.

cn174 Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Do we know what name/letter colouring will be on the back? red
MeanGreenMachine Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Umbro has done a cracking job, going to pop up before i go on my hols and get one for me and my son.
JAL Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Crown logo? No chance mate - they pay for the privilege. I'll pay for the privilege of not having it on, now that should improve the profit margins made on a shirt.
4ever&ever Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 One of the nicest shirts we've had in years, and to be honest those who are seriously complaining are pretty much out of touch.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 It's a nice shirt and I like the blue Umbro badge. I think the sponsor looks a bit cheap and maybe could have looked a bit better.
Rover9 Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 I think it's a nice shirt that but I still dont get why the sponsor is a stuck on transfer, it would look much better if it was 'printed in' to the shirts like the Time sponser of a few years back.
BB9 Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 I think it's a nice shirt that but I still dont get why the sponsor is a stuck on transfer, it would look much better if it was 'printed in' to the shirts like the Time sponser of a few years back. Sublimated shirts are generally more expensive and difficult to produce plus you would lose some of the quality and detail of the the shirt.
alexanders Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 A new try: Considering we have a different size chart in norway I would be very thankful if someone could help me find it which of the sizes would fit a 2 year old. I love the shirt and are going to buy it for me and my son:)
roversmum Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 You probably need an infant kit size 2-3 which is an 'age' size link here (product options). I'd tend to go for that size unless your toddler is an unusually big child for his age or is almost three then I'd consider the larger size. He can grow into it anyway.
Bobby G Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 Love the collar and the little strip of white and blue on each sleeve end. Dont like the sponsors logo boxed. I'd rather cut out letters but that will be never happen with our blue and white striped shirt.
