You are correct, but it is used every week by a hard up local, my bit for supporting rovers

But I am not renewing as its pointless now, I hate the m6 on a Sunday so with so few Sat 3pm kick offs I ll pick and choose my games

Fair do's, but nearly every game was Saturday 3pm before Xmas, just to remind people as its easy to forget with all the palava in 2010.

I can't make this one but have given my ST's away (to a Rovers fan and a Blackpool fan).

This is a game that we should be targeting to get three points from. Everton are a very good side and have shown that they can get results away from home, so this will be a difficult game. But if we want to finish in the top 10, this is a game that we should be looking to get 3 points from. We have a very good home record and this should give us the confidence to do well in this game. I hope for a better level of performance to go with a win, because our football has been been dreadful over the past number of games. I'm going for a 2-1 Rovers win.

Nelsen looked a real liability when helping shut out United didn't he? Especially with that brilliant front post interception late in the second half

I'm hoping Basturk gets a run out along with Hoillet at some stage

I wouldn't say Nelson has been a Liability at all this year and scored some vey important goals - Would I prefer having Samba fit though? YES.

The admiral has been a great servant though and had quite a good year overall.

Id give at least 7/10 on performances this year :)

See how him and jones do - Be interesting.

from the BBC:

• Blackburn have been caught offside 104 times this season, more than any other team in the Premier League.

Love to know how those were dished out among the players, I have a feeling I know who is responsible for most of them!

A few more interesting stats:

• Tim Cahill's last 11 league goals for Everton have all been headers.

• Louis Saha has scored five goals in his last five starts against Blackburn.

Ewoodpo posted some comments from Sam in the Basturk thread, looks like he wont play tomorrow but if we win may get a chance against Wolves.

Is he heck. Your constant negativity towards Nelsen is offset a tad by anything else to do with Rovers being utterly brilliant.

He is too slow & often gets caught out of position.

Maybe he did an interception - but as soon as he came on, a player went straight through him, and also where was he on the valencia chance? Caught in the middle of nowhere - watch the replay and you should see.

I honestly thought Nelson weren't even on by the valencia chance - I may be wrong though + I think berba fouled Jones was it? anyway so we'll be fine..

I know what your saying though but this season he has done well - next season I may prefer Jones & Samba tho, or Givet n Samba - So i do understand where your coming from but liability is a bit harsh Hughesy ;-)

I'm the same as others, Samba and Givet would be my ideal back two (Jones would be pressing them now as well) but Nelsen can do a decent job when called upon.

Samba has been as clumsy and costly at times as anyone at times this season though

25 MINS: Jones loses out to Macheda who then turns and plays in Valencia. The former Wigan man shoots from a tight angle, Robinson saves with his chest.

33 MINS: Rovers are forced into a change and it is a blow as Chris Samba is unable to continue. Ryan Nelsen is on to replace.

Aye, ###### defending from Nelsen for Valencia's chance

And if you're talking about the 2nd one, nelsen passed it back to Robbo from the left hand side who had a rubbish clearance straight to Berbatov. Valencia was being marked by Givet. Nelsen run back into the centre by the time the chance come (running past Jones)

There is no defender who goes 'Missing' more often than Samba. If you study the partnership carefully Hughesy, I think you'll find that Nelsen spends alot of time covering Samba. Samba reminds me of a young Colin Hendry - great potential but still very raw. Hopefully he will develop into the outstanding defender that Hendry eventually became. In the meantime, Nelsen may make mistakes - all defenders do - but he reads the game well and has had another excellent season.

Looking like another very good attendance on the cards...BBE upper tier showing nearly sold out on ticket site!

I think it's more likely to be freebies. You'll probably see big sections of youth groups wearing bright yellow shellsuits.

Either that or they are not showing as available when they should be... you can't trust OneRovers for getting an idea of sales... the Darwen End has never been available on there for this game!

----------Kalinic-----Roberts

Olsson--------------------------Diouf

----------Grella-------NZonzi

Givet----Jones------Samba----Salgado

----------------Robinson

Time to go 442 I think. Dunn and Pedersen were ineffective against United, we need to create more up front and create a bit of space for Kalinic. Bringing in Roberts is the best way to do that for my money. Also Diouf is one of our better players at the moment so should be starting.

You say create a bit of space for kalinic , Jason Roberts' ass will take up the remainder of the pitch...

Olsson should be given the licence to get up there with the strikers as much as possible. He makes great runs and is a real goal threat.

If offsides were goals, Jason Roberts would be better than Messi.
