Niko isolated as usual, I know 442 may be a bit outdated in Europe, but playing one upfront relies on the midfield being of good attacking quality, we don't have that so we should try 442. If Niko had someone helping him he may stand more of a chance of scoring. He can't ever get into the box because he is so busy holding the ball up and waiting an eternity for support(which he does fantastically well). If he was playing in a decent team that has a good midfield and an attacking mentality he'd have double the goals he has now at least. I'd go as far to say that Kalanic is too good for us and he must be fed up playing in the role he has been given, he is a forward and forwards want to score goals.

Also playing Andrews means we are effectively down to 10 men, so Dunn has to do the job of two and can't get forward as he should. Andrews pointing is fantastic however and if there was awards for being a great pointer he'd be worldclass.

Not to mention the players don't want to pass to him, which makes his selection even more pointless.

I just can't think of a reason anyone would play him, I know Sam is a bit deluded, but playing Andrews is a bit too crazy even for him. He tries, but unfortunately he is definitely in the top ten worst Prem footballers.

Bad selection mistake to play Andrews against a midfield which is one of the best in the League.

BBC take on the Arteta incident:

An outbreak of handbags at Ewood Park - and Mikel Arteta can count himself lucky not to have been sent off. The Everton midfielder goes head-to-head with Morten Gamst Pedersen, poking him first in the cheek, and then, naughtily, in the eye. Andre Marriner gives a yellow apiece.

We are going to lose this one- cannot see us scoring.
