Guest roverspogges Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Who is the fattest player of all time? My own personal favourites are Jan Molby and Mick Quinn. Anyone know some other famous footballers who enjoyed a pie or two?

BlueMonday Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Anyone know some other famous footballers who enjoyed a pie or two? I believe Peter Crouch loves pies. Eats dozens of em after a game. In fact he loves em so much he named his racehorse Hollands.....
Ossydave Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Neville Southall Kevin Pressman Brian Jensen 3 bloaters off the top of my head, all keepers too...
CrazyIvan Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Neville Southall Kevin Pressman Brian Jensen 3 bloaters off the top of my head, all keepers too... Neil 'Razor' Ruddock in his Crystal Palace days. I remember him when Crystal Palace came to Ewood having a proper good laugh with the BBE. Ha ha ha...
CrazyIvan Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 No kidding! John Parkin has to be the fattest striker I have ever seen...
Neil Weaver Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 One that Jim will be able to remember........ William Foulke
MeanGreenMachine Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Andy Reid at Sunderland is another porker... He lost quite alot of weight over the summer, looks quite trim these days. How can anyone leave out Benni McDonalds? He seriously has let himself go since leaving.
Lurid Coat Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Thomas Brolin; Leeds, Parma, Crystal Palace and Sweden legend extraordinaire. He's also in with a shout for claiming a spot in the "Football's Ugliest Men" first XI.
MarkBRFC71 Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Errrrr .... Benni McCarthy? Also Mido, Tomas Brolin, Ronaldo (the Brazilian one), Ronaldinho (in his latter days at Barca), Neville Southall ....
Tim Southampton Rover Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Le Tissier used to eat a big mac before games
beerwins Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 The toothy terror Ronaldo wasnt exactly going to slip down a drain.
jim mk2 Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 One that Jim will be able to remember........ William Foulke I went to school his dad. My nomination is Jimmy Fryatt, late 1960s Rovers centre forward who had the build of a Dorset farmer complete with sideburns and bald head.
DeadlyDirk Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Le Tissier used to eat a big mac before games I could have sworn he was munching one one when he nonchalantly skinned half of our team and left Flowers in the back of the goal from 35 yards back in the title winning season. Parkin has to be up there with the biggest of them, has Maradona been mentioned? Bill Fatty Foulke was a great call, remember hearing stories about him as a kid, can't remember them off hand but I don't think they were complimentary. Ruddock as mentioned, didn't Palace have to have his shorts especially made. Julian Dicks his former Wham team mate was a bit of a porker too. John Barnes was a bit chubby at times, Gazza too, Ronaldo after his knees went, or was it the weight that made the knees go? Hartson was a big lad, not that it scared Berkaovic. Kevin Pressman was huge, good penalty taker though! Dunny's not far off the list depending on what month of the season it is. Not sure if you can beat the opening post of Quinn and Molby though!
Mafioso Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Titus Bramble looks round. Jensen and Bikey at Burnley look quite big too. Also I remember David Ginola at Villa, he took his shirt off to celebrate a goal and surprisingly his managers reaction was to tell him he needed to lose weight.
Kelbo Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Now I think I must be old!! Harry Leyland anyone???
sleepyjack Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Mark Viduka. Fat lazy occasional genius. Kevin Pressman was huge, good penalty taker though!
