Hudds fan here

Decent game if a little boring

Your number 7 was terrible, the big black central midfielder. Diouf was good, that extra bit of class. Your two centre backs played well. All your forwards were pretty poor I thought

Joey G was the best player on the pitch and that goal capped a top drawer performance. Thought we passed it around well at times but were very wasteful in the final third

Linganzi?

Worrying to hear about Linganzi but he is still young with time to develop I suppose.

Not seen enough of him myself to comment

Well i'm from Brighouse mate, all my family support Town, other then me. Huddersfield were just too fast to be honest. We attacked, or tried too, and then came your counter at fast pace.

You will do well next season, but some may say we made you look good.

What did you think to our performance mate?

Huddersfield have two local lads from around here in Joe Garner and Pilks, I know Garner has just signed on loan, but what do you think of young Pilkington who signed from Stockport.

When he first signed, he was unbelievably good. Beat men for fun and his crossing was premier league class

He is now a shadow of that player. Rarely runs at a man and his crossing is pretty dire. Think it is just a case of confidence, hopefully he gets it back soon or Croft/Carey may be taking his place in the side

Cheers for that will pass that on.

I thought it was a decent performance tonight and certainly a much better game than last night at Deepdale. Diouf showed a bit of class tonight and really seemed up for the game - unlike a number of his colleagues the previous evening. Teymourian was neat and tidy in midfield and didn't give away possession when making a pass. At the moment he is lacking a little in fitness but hopefully will get an outing in the next two reserve matches. Gunning was steady on the left of the back three - once again we employed a 3-5-2 system. Josh Morris delivered a number of dangerous crosses from the left but Rigters and Blackman were again disappointing in attack. Branco added a little more urgency but without carrying a threat in front of goal. Linganzi was a little more erratic than I have seen him in previous matches for the Reserves but I still believe that he has the potential to make an impression in time.

It was a far more enjoyable affair than the Preston game and at least the Rovers players gave plenty of effort.

I thought Huddersfield looked a decent side. They played some attactive football and should do well in League One this season.

We've scored 5, keep up.

For those that went how did Zac aley get on? Reading the comments he seems to have done well.

I liked the look of him. He seemed quite nippy and ran into the channels a lot. Of course, he was fresh on after 70 mins against a team just beginning their pre-season like us so this may have accentuated this, but I thought he played OK. I was actually more impressed with Branco though - his touch was decent, not afraid to shoot, not sluggish, and an excellent ball boy.

For those who have seen the preseason games:

How has Teymourian played? What kind of player is he?

He's a sitter in the Grella mould, but with more of a Big Amo look about him. His passing was basic but generally good, and he closed the ball down/chased around a lot. I'd rate him as one of our better performers last night, but that's hardly a ringing endorsement as the majority were pretty dire. I think that when fit Grella is a lot better but Vincenzo is always going to be a liability in terms of fitness and discipline.

It seems its irrelevant now anyway, as according to Sky Sports he has turned down the chance to go down under with the squad!

How has Jackson Ramm coped in the friendlies so far?

The highlights from the PNE game suggests that we're heading for a season full of goals conceded from set pieces - the worst kind. Let's hope we can improve there..

We conceded plenty from corner's etc last season which was puzzling considering were supposed to be set piece specialist's.

Has the full squad that's leaving to Australia published somewhere? LET just says Teymourian has been invited and Zurab's staying behind..

and now Teymourian is out and Morris is in, and Nelsen is meeting up with them over there.

Anyone got the full 26?
