Have just been on several of those message boards I am waiting for a reply he is disgusted we have taken diouf on loan so my question to Vinjay was did he have such animosity when we signed Danny Simpson, David May, M.Hughes,Henning Berg,am still waiting for a reply. Does anyone wonder what kind of life this sad individual Vinjay leads he seems to develop make his mind up on a subject then uses his whole day trawling through internet sites posting it on every site possible for someone to spend so much time on the Net does he actually eat,go out, or is it stuck looking at the same 4 walls all day maybe he has ocd he obsess's about the takeover to a point that is unhealthy was thinking maybe the chaps on vital blackburn could have a new poll most annoying,Obsessive, irritating poster on the net he would win hands down every year. Sorry for going off topic I know today a Rovers VI played Burscough in a reserve friendly was wondering does anyone know if any first team players were included in that squad I know Rovers won 2-0 ironically it was at the same time as the hearts game today. Also anyone know where I can watch online Diouf's goal from today? would be great. Also 67 any idea what channel the game is tommorrow against celtic?. Thanks.

I thought it was a decent workout today against a pretty useful Hearts outfit. Nelsen and Samba looked good in the centre of defence and largely kept Hearts at bay without too much difficulty. We looked fairly unimpressive as an attacking outfit in the first half with Nick Blackman struggling to make much impression as the lone forward. In the second half Mame Diouf injected more pace and purpose in attack and took his goal very well.

I thought El-Hadji Diouf was our best player with Lars Jacobsen close behind. They formed a very effective pairing on the right wing both in defence and attack. Hoilett continues to frustrate. He gets into great positions but his final ball leaves much to be desired as does his decision making. Nzonzi didn't have one of his better afternoons but I thought Linganzi came on and did quite well in the centre of midfield. There was also an impressive little cameo by Josh Morris when he was introduced onto the left wing in the second half. Certainly a more encouraging performance than the one at Preston.

I think you should have left Danny Simpson out of that list!

I have just rolled in following a day out in scotland. Pretty well lashed but I want to say how much a laugh we had with the Hearts fans who made us welcome in the capital. there are quite a few Rovers/hearts fans in scotland.

the game was a good work out however lets be honest, Andrews in midfield was simply crap. It ewasnt untilk the ingtoduction of faty that we passed it actross the middle.

Noice from from diouf.

hearts stewards worse than manure. To be cooped up in the manner we were with a whole end to oiurselves was disgraceful especailly as we had more in our end than the opposite end had altogether.

greaqt turn ojut from Rovers fans

good day, plenty of ale and a right good day out.

Did Ricardo Faty play?

Was Teymourian involved or will he play tomorrow?

According to the Rovers report, Faty did not play.

Rovers: Bunn (sub Brown 61 mins), Jacobsen, Olsson, Samba (sub Givet 73 mins), Nelsen, Nzonzi (sub Linganzi 64 mins), Hoilett, Andrews, Pedersen (sub Morris 68 mins), Blackman (sub Mame Diouf 46), El-Hadji Diouf. Subs (not used): Doran, Gunning, Judge

Maybe 1864s Tennants intake meant that Linganzi looked like Faty?

Now I have had chance to sober up a little.

I am certain that the announcer said faty came on, even if it was Linganzi he controlled the midfield very very well.

Rovers took the best part of a 1000, maybe even more. Fans were turned away becuase they simply wouldnt let Rovers fans into the next set of seats meaning we were cramped up. Such a shame really.

Had a right laugh. Disappointed with the turn out at Murrayfield bar, only 10 Rovers fans in there so we left to go to the bar around the corner where we met the Rovers/hearts fans.

Saw Scotty and Manc Blue on the train but as it was packed out didnt get to chat to them. Have to praise the train manager, when it arrived at Preston it was already quite busy and there must have been 50-60 Rovers fans getting on. With the empty seats all reserved he ripped up the tickets so most got seats. Brave decision as the sould who got on from Oxwnhomle northwards all had to stand up !!

Not so sure Celtic today will be as welcoming.

We were in the Murrayfield Bar for 3 hours before the game (dart board end of the bar)...there were about 8 of us, mostly wearing Rovers shirts. Fife Rover came over to talk to us just before he left to go to the game.

The announcer in the ground definitely said it was Faty that came on, anyway whoever it was did ok.

Mame Diouf took his goal really well - a massive positive.

Rovers fans were in excellent voice and spirits. Think 1000 might be slightly on the high side though, I'd say nearer 600.

Bring on the Celtic. Today's meeting place - Blackfriars in Merchant City.

Probably saw some of you in the crowd, Enjoyed the crowd banter with the couple of hearts lads. "You what?"

Couldn't really understand the stadium announcer. Thought Diouf brought something different to our play especially when Junior went up front with him. I wish Junior would improve his distribution and Andrews would learn to turn with the ball and run with it.

Agree with Parsonblue in terms of Josh Morris he got the ball and ran with it and did quite well.

Poor mans Lennon anyone? but hes plenty of time to work on that part of his game.

You could say that, once instance in the second half where he was clear through the defence and had Mame Diouf and possibly Morris shouting for the ball in the middle. A simple pass in the box would have seen a goal, instead he took one to many touches and the defender got a block. A bit like as you say Lennon.

At least 5 fans were not allowed to pay at the cash only turnstyle, we spoke to them at edniburgh stn. Said there were no more seats available.

They were not drunk as 3 of them dont drink and they were not trouble makers (ages 18,18,19,20 and 33).

Bit sad really because the hearts turn out wasnt exactly throbbing.
