philipl Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Bert was a flake for that goal. Rovers defence gone dopey again.

Amo Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Linganzi looking very composed on the ball. He'll never get this much time on the ball in the PL. Then we'll see.
Doaksie Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 He'll never get this much time on the ball in the PL. Then we'll see. True, but I'd be pretty confident he'll be a step up from Andrews or Grella in that role. I've never seen either of them look comfortable with a football.
neophox Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 No Roberts and no Grella.....they have left for new clubs for sure.
brfcshabba Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 No Roberts and no Grella.....they have left for new clubs for sure. Ah yes forgot about Grella - can you blame me?
Jamesw1982 Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 i like the look of morris when he has the ball. bLACKM AN IS LIKVELY BUT HE NEEDS streghten up
Doaksie Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Haven't seen much of Morris or Blackman. I'm jealous of Blackman. I always wanted to be invisible, but he seems to have mastered it. Feels a bit like Niko up there on his own.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Maybe cos he might play the whole game?
Backroom Tom Posted August 8, 2010 Backroom Posted August 8, 2010 I'm hoping the lack of Roberts and grella is a sign that things are close on those fronts
Doaksie Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Bring your granddaughter to work day? I was just thinking that. This is the most surreal half-time coverage I've seen in a while. Looks like it's being recorded in his basement too, with a '67 board in the background.
philipl Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Lovely passing move from Rovers at the end there until Kainic got offside and fell over the ball. Jones, Givet, Lingazi, and above all Salgado looking good. Morris is looking a real prospect but Blackman not yet. Kalinic looking terribly rusty as does Chimbonda. Outstanding player in the game by far is McCourt for Celtic.
Presty On Tour Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Bring your granddaughter to work day? The half time coverage is funny, looks like a private conversation and then when the hand of unknown appeared and just dumped some paper work on the table, i was in stitches!
neophox Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Watching the game and both Roberts and Grella is absent. I think Hanley is off for loan so he's not included. Khizanishvili is another absentee. Ratings after first half. Robinson - not som much to do. Fortune scored when he was clear with Robinson so no chanse. Salgado - thats a player.. looks inspired and hungry, dangerous coming forward. Jones - looks good and stable Givet - a little bit shaky, not fit? Chimbonda - terrible...what happened to him.. Emerton - looks premiership player...nice to see. Linganzi - the best I've seen this young gun play, he will be something for the future and may play in cup games but no starter. Dunn - class free kick goal...he's hot but I want to see more in the second half. Morris - the lad is one for the future....he will come in some games this season and will give Olsson a push in a year or so but not premier starter yet, but will play cups. Blackman - haven't seen much, some neat passes though, no shot on goal. Kalinic - nice to see him back, will improve for every game but may start on bench against Everton. At the moment my first eleven is this. Robinson Jones, Samba, Nelsen Salgado Olsson Emerton, Dunn, Nzonzi, Pedersen Diouf/or Kalinic Bench: Kalinic, Hoilett, E-H Diouf, Givet, Linganzi, Andrews, Bunn.

modes98 Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Bring your granddaughter to work day? Ah Brilliant! She has to have been the uncomfortable looking football pundit ever! I didn't have the sound on but I imagine it wasn't the best analysis.
Doaksie Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 I love the part where they said you could argue Rangers shouldn't have won the SPL last season. Bitter much? Just a tad. The second half starts just as I found this Channel 67 contact us. Wanted to ask him if the bring your daughter to work is an annual thing or is this just a one off?

bigbrandjohn Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 My Celtic mate tells me she's a regular. Been watching since she was a kid. That must be around two years old. Jim Craig was a dentist and full back for the 67 cup european cup winning team.
