des Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 this is what happen whem you play like we do in a 4-5-1 the ball takes coming back you play deper and deeper and hope for the best.... well it does not always work. hence why there scored and there look the better side....what is going on
Nafe_rovers Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 sigh... I have never been overly critical about Andrew but FFS....
Dan Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Just seen the goal again, who was marking the goal scorer?
Majiball Posted April 24, 2010 Author Posted April 24, 2010 Ebanks-Blake with a header???? Sam's made some silly mistakes today.
Rovermatt Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 The crippling lack ambition rife throughout the club is summed up by us holding on for a 1-0 victory against Wolves. What a write-off of a season.
hollowsr Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Just seen the goal again, who was marking the goal scorer? No one in the end but Givet was closest, Di Santo on for Roberts, just what we need :s
Hughesy Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Ebanks-Blake with a header???? Sam's made some silly mistakes today. Was Sam the man marking Ebanks?? Sorry but that was poor defending, nothing else!
Dan Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Franco on, we are saved surely! Why take off Niko? Maybe he had a knock? What does Andrews have on Fat Sam? He must have seen him visiting a brothel or something, there is no reason to play him and after what he did last week Sam is insulting the fans by bringing him on in my opinion.
RibbleValleyRover Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 sigh... I have never been overly critical about Andrew but FFS.... Can't just blame Andrews for this, Pedersen has been poor as have others. Ultimately though Sam has to take the blame, he changed it at HT and it clearly was a disaster of a move. Wolves probably did their homework on us, preparing to play a 4-5-1 so when we didn't line up like that it shocked them. We switched to it at HT and they find it too easy. Sam will blame the strikers, but its our midfield thats the problem. We can't link up well with the attack and can't protect our defence.
sam_rovers Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 its an away game... since when is that ###### an excuse.. pathetic stuff
Amo Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Was Sam the man marking Ebanks?? Sorry but that was poor defending, nothing else! Caused by us sitting deeper and deeper and allowing Wolves to creep back into the game. But I'm sure you'll have Nelsen hung out to dry already.
mogster Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 HIT THE POST AGAIN!!!!!!!!! MISSED CHANCES, I SAY
ewoodpo Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 We have dropped stupid points this season Pompey away Everton at home now this. We could have pushed for a European position this season if it wasn't for the negative tactics.
Dan Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Was Sam the man marking Ebanks?? Sorry but that was poor defending, nothing else! Some changes in tactics have changed the game and brought pressure on us, it was a question of when, not if Wolves were going to score. Putting us down to 10 men by bringing Andrews on is also a fat sam master stroke.
Balwer Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 We have dropped stupid points this season Pompey away Everton at home now this. We could have pushed for a European position this season if it wasn't for the negative tactics. Liverpool is occupying the final European spot, 16 points and goal difference ahead of us. You're taking the p*ss a bit with that comment there.
hollowsr Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 That just now has summed Andrews up, olsson running down the left Andrews ahead of him in field nice ball when Andrews stops and drops behind Olsson, he has no brain that lad
Hughesy Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Another 2 points dropped - wolves didnt even deserve a point. 2 posts, should of been a penalty & plenty of chances (mainly all hit straight at Keeper)
