Was Sam the man marking Ebanks?? Sorry but that was poor defending, nothing else!

Why are we trying to hold on from the 57th minute by reverting back to 451 against a team that up till today had scored 10 yes 10 goals at home all season???? The pressure we have been under since then has been incredible, I doubt wolves have had the ball in the final third that much all season at home.

We've shown consistently away from home that we cannot hang on in there against anyone. I was delighted after so many failed attempts to see him try something different today but the second we were under a bit of pressure he reverts back to the only way he knows. Fortune favours the brave, even when they equalize we just swap Roberts for Di Santo.

Sam is so negative that if you were to give him a minus number, it wouldn't generate a positive.

This is a game we should have won we beat ourselves today.

Gutted we didn't get the three points away, but will settle for a draw and the point

Got to remember Wolves are fighting for Premiership survival, this game mattered much much more to them than us and the desire showed in the second half.

We didn't win no... But we didn't lose either.

Another 2 points dropped - wolves didnt even deserve a point. 2 posts, should of been a penalty & plenty of chances (mainly all hit straight at Keeper)

Shouldnt have been a penalty, the ref was right.

Story of our season.

Wolves begging us throughout the entire game to finish them off, but we simply say no thanks. Another BFS-inspired Keith Andrews masterstroke that didn't quite turn out either.

Now let's wait for the group of "optimists" to come on here and proclaim how this was a great effort, how we can never dream of something more, and how feeling frustrated means you are a crazy idiot.

To sum up this game for me is very simple.

At 4-4-2 Rovers had the lead, the game, the possession and Wolves couldnt cope, There was only ever one winner with Rovers playing positive football.

What does SA do ?

Reverts to 4-5-1, employs the negative Andrews and what happens ?

Rovers concede the initiative, concede the possession, concede territory and give away a simple equaliser.

SA you idiot, you alone have cost us 2 points and a couple of slots up the league. Dont be moaning about lack of funds when the inept substitution you made COST us 3 points.

If you insist on playing Andrews, down we go next season.

Not a good start for a Saturday nights drinking.

Well done Sam, you are a tactical genius. That football in the 2nd half was a joy to watch. Obviously you weren't happy the way we passed the ball around in the first half, so decided to change it and play some sexy long ball stuff, dropping deeper and deeper and inviting pressure. Fantastic. Cannot wait for another season of this excellent stuff.

Definitely two points dropped today, we looked more than comfortable in the first half but second half was a completely different story. Dunn still didn't look fully fit all the time, going back to one up front killed us. We don't have the strikers to do it and we played quite well first half with TWO hard working strikers on.

Andrews has to be sold or just let go in the summer, people can keep on saying it's not his fault he isn't good enough but sorry if I was this far out of my depth I'd be depressed every day and just accept it and find my level.

Will be interesting to see how we line up v Arsenal, as has already been said we let that slip today and nothing to do with Wolves being any good as they aren't!

We threw 2 important points away today, a win would have seem us 10th and put pressure on Sunderland, Stoke and Fulham, if we end up 13th as it is looking likely that has cost the club £2 million!

Wolves are a poor side, but for some reason we decided to try and hold onto a 1-0 lead, we dropped deeper and deeper, which invited pressure and eventually they scored, it was poor defending for the goal. I think that Sam got the substitution wrong, should have brought on Di Santo.

If we could shoot we would have comfortably won that game. Sam's tactics were fine, damnit even Andrews didnt do too badly, but the amount of chances that were wasted was shocking.

If gamst doesnt sign a contract i couldnt care less, another average display. Basturk showed glimpses but didnt get up to speed. Jones/Neslen did well enough but the midfield lacked any kind of cutting dimension until Dunn came on. We need more pace and creativity, desperately on the wings.

Dunn was class in the second half but without anyone else in midfield or up front who could match his quality it wasnt ever going to end well.

Sam didnt sign Roberts, Andrews, Pedersen, and it is these players who are struggling. There arent any alternatives within the squad so lets not lose the plot.

Some changes in tactics have changed the game and brought pressure on us, it was a question of when, not if Wolves were going to score. Putting us down to 10 men by bringing Andrews on is also a fat sam master stroke.

We were dire the entire match, the only thing that changed was that Wolves quickened up the pace and continually attacked us down the wings. Although Salgado was doing well, he was leaving too much space for crosses to be sent through, which was fine while our marking and defending in the air was good, but for their goal it was pretty miserable. Missing Samba? I'd say so.

Andrews had arguably our best chance of the match, which he helped create, so no point criticising him.

Absolutely shocking performance, no excuses, this was a must win game. Sam should have plans to get points off Arsenal and Villa because we just lost our chance to finish 9th and will most likely finish 12th or 13th now.

points lost today for sure,

they had nothing in first half to counter us, we tried to play for 1-1 in the second and sat back leading to equaliser from unmarked header!

sorry but more evidence of how poor the 451 is for us,

we were looking good for a chance of 10th in league overall at half time, with our remaining games id be surprised if we got any more points now

Sam must be clueless if he thinks taking off Kalinic and Roberts and bringing on Andrews and Di Santo will win us the game!! Surely a man so in love with statistics must be able to work out that playing those two means we wont win the game.

This happens every year, we are in a good position looking to climb the table and we lose or draw games we should win and miss out on position money that would make a real difference to our team next year.

It's so frustrating!!

Our biggest problem is 4-5-1, it's too negative especially when we have nothing to lose playing 4-4-2

Rubbish, we created more chances when we went to 4-5-1. It the fact that we couldnt finish any of our chances. Sam's formation/tactics can be questioned BUT we did create enough to win the game and the fact that we didnt comes down to individuals not finishing the moves. You cannot blame Sam for that.

We struck the post a couple of times, but this was by far a convincing performance. Sam has to take the flak for dropping the ball here and he may well regret it come next season's transfer window. We started the game with a new formation, and lo' and behold we had numbers going forward and crosses into the box. 1-0 at H/T, Sam decided to do what he often does when we're in the ascendancy, take the foot off the gas and sacrificed Kalinic for....A-An....I can't even say his name! So now we - arguably - had an extra man in midfield, but we didn't do anything with the ball besides the routine 'GO LONG'. We were clearly trying to squeeze out a 1-0 win, but this naturally allowed Wolves back into the game and they duly scored. No more than we deserved for giving them the incentive.

Oh, and bye bye Pedersen! You won't be missed.

Wolves had 4 shots total on 45 minutes, they finished with 14.

Formations or whatever until we actually learn to keep the ball and stop giving it away cheaply we'll alway be under pressure.

At least in tyhe first half Roberts and Kali worked together to hold the ball up long enough for our mono pace midfield to get there and help out. For the 1 man all on his lonesome to truly work as Sam wants we need a top top striker, which we will never afford.
