Another great performance from Samba. Personally he would have been my MOTM but I think Roberts has done well on his own upfront.

I just hope Wenger isn't too impressed by Samba!

Swop him for Arshavin?

Great result lads. Massive credit to Sam for the home form this year. Really, really good job.

By any standard that is an outstanding win. Not pretty, but how many times have they tonked us at home when we have been pretty. Savour the moment. No defeats against the big guys at home and 10th place. I'm Lovin it.

Jekyll and Hyde, when we pass we look a very good side-so proud, we just beat a top 4 side! YES!!

Well I would be a liar if I said I saw that coming, second half we got the ball down and played football and deserved to get something from the game.

Well done to the boys and to Sam who bored them to death in the first half only to unleash hell in the second.

Brilliant second half from us. Much improved. Looked dangerous on the counter with Dunn and Roberts are best offensive players.

We beat top 4 opposition after a long time in the league, which is great for the confidence of fans and the team.

Im very happy with both the second half performance and the result.

Allardyce has turned everything around. Now unless we are unlucky, we will not finish 13th and should finish at least 12th, which means this win got us another 750k in the coffers.

Van Persie to score first and Rovers win 2-1,i did it beginning of the season with the villa home game with Agbonlahor (sp) to score first and it netted me a nice wedge! :tu:

EDIT:70/1 on skybet so,it should be worth a couple of quid!

Good call Sir! I guess you're even more over the moon than the rest of us. If only Sam would realise we are infinitely more dangerous when we get the ball down- we do it for twenty minutes a match and almost always score, so why not try it for 90?!?

Great result, fully deserved! Great to see Wenger storming off like the sore loser he is :D

Big Sam: As an opposing manager, Arsene Wenger came out and criticised what we did. You just smile and say: 'I've managed to outwit you again. My tactics have been better on the day than yours have. I've managed to achieve a result against what has been one of the top sides in the Premier League for a long time.' If it's good enough for Inter Milan against Barcelona then it's good enough for me.

Haha Big Sam is a quality dancer. Great to see the scenes after the game. All the players with their families walking around the pitch and enjoying the occasion.

Samba's little kid just scored a goal with a beach ball. Maybe play him against Liverpool

I really wish I could have been there today but I'm recovering from major surgery and just couldn't make it. Brilliant result, well done Rovers and Big Sam. I watched a feed and listened to 5 Live and they gave the first half to Arsenal and the second to us. It may not be the prettiest football but by god it gets results.

And for all those doubters, here's something to chew on... BIG SAM HAS DELIVERED ON A WIN AGAINST THE TOP 4. Yes it has finally happened.

As a back four, the defence were brilliant and Robbo caught everything, Pederson was great today too, top workmanlike performance, Salgado just gets better and Givets handling of Walcott was first class, straight out of the coaching manual!!

I love it when Wenger refuses to shake hands. You just know we executed our game plan perfectly.

edit: Apparently they did shake hands. Big deal, I know.
