mickbrown Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Has Steve Clarke gone as well? Nope. Makes me think that Grant is coming in as he worked with him at Chelsea.

Majiball Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Macdonald is a defence minded coach, surely what Rovers need is a more midfield/attack minded coach to balance it out. Clarkes not shabby going forward either, he's a great all rounder. Given who he's worked under in his career you can't help but pick up bits along the way. But I doubt he'd take less than an assistant role and that would be harsh on MacDonald. Nope. Makes me think that Grant is coming in as he worked with him at Chelsea. Nice and cheap option bringing in Grant sounds just like the porno brothers! He'll do a good job for you and he's certainly experienced in dealing with all and sundry being sold out from under him. Plays good football as well. It is kind of a match made in heaven given Grants favorite past-time, I'll bet the porno brothers can keep him happy with a steady supply!!
Billy Castell Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 To be honest I wouldn't mind Grant at Ewood Park one day. Did well at Pompey considering the mess they are in. maybe after Sam has left we can turn that multi-faith room into a 'massage parlour'.
Commondore Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Grant seems to be a quite shady character, he would fit in nicely with Gold/Sullivan. I do have a soft spot for the Hammers though, and really hope that they can get their act together. Maybe it's time for Clarke to reign by himself? Would surely save them some money...
