1 game this season where restricted sale is needed - no point for a new system.

IF you really want one then Blackpool were selling them on open sale via their website.

Be quick if you're going to do it... not many left, but they are on OPEN sale as Hughesy said.

Luckily I qualify but would have gone in the home section if needs be.

Been down to Ewood today, plenty of activity around the ticket sales desk.

I had a small problem with my mates ticket allocation as some of the away games from last year were not registered on his account as it was me who purchased them. Fair play to the young lady who dealt with me, very open and she went and checked the purchase history. She clearly pulled out all the stops to try and solve the issue and dealt with me in a most polite manner.

What is very clear is that there wont be a phase 2 selling of tickets, or if there is it wont go beyond 50 tickets such is the amount of ticket applications received so far.

I would stronly suggest that if you havernt taken your application down yet get it in by Monday otherwise your gonna miss it.

Did you get the problem solved? I have had a similar problem, a mate of mine got me 2 away tickets last year and they have told me they cant find the records of this. I think it will be too late to get it sorted anyway

Got tickets in the Pool sections: should be fun when (if) Rovers score!!

Mmm; so've I. I've been friends for years with a number of Blackpool season-ticket-holders, one of whom can't go on to our game so I've blagged their ticket.

Does anyone else remember a game away at Millwall in the late 1970s/early 1980s? Grounds were un-segregated in those days and two mates and I were on the terracing, mainly among Millwall fans. We scored the only goal of the game [after about 1/2 an hour, I seem to remember] and anyone looking at us 3 Rovers' fans from then to the final whistle wouldn't have been able to tell which team we supported from our reaction. We kept dead quiet so that our accents wouldn't be recognised and it was only when we were back in my mate's car and were some distance from The Den that we began to celebrate openly.

Two days later, "Panorama" on BBC-1 did a feature on football hooliganism and guess which match they'd been at to illustrate the problem? That's right; Millwall vs. BRFC!

I don't remember any trouble; perhaps that's because we three were [still are!] devout cowards pacifists! So I won't be wearing any blue & white a fortnight today and my reaction to any goals, near misses, etc., will be that of my neighbours. I just pray that I won't be expected to wear the missing person's tangerine and white scarf as a quid pro quo for the use of their ticket! :o

I've got a guaranteed ticket for the game but I won't be going. A mate at work is getting married and it clashes with the match. I've let him know in no uncertain terms what I'm sacrificing for him and the food and night out had better be good.. :angry2::angry2:

I did the same thing yesterday. she told me there were quite a lot of people who had the same problem. I put it down in writing before I went because that's what they told me to do for the Burnley ticket and we got that one through. Message to self for future - even if tickets are on open sale make sure you get one put on each season ticket you have then this situation won't arise again.

North is about 2 miles away from the ground.

South is a lot easier if going stright to the ground, 10 mins walk, just over if you've had a few.

There's one direct train an hour from Colne to Blackpool, which leaves Accrington at [for example] 10.19 a.m.; Church & Oswaldtwistle 10.21; Rishton 10.25; Blackburn 10.35; Mill Hill 10.38; Cherry Tree 10.40; Pleasington 10.42; and gets into Blackpool South @ 11.39 a.m.

Then it's 11.19 and 12.19 from Accrington and at the same times for the intermediate stations, getting into Blackpool South @ 12.39 p.m. and 1.39p.m. respectively.

It's dead easy to find from Blackpool South station.

I too have had the same problem.

Also we wrote about it for the Dingle game, yet they still didnt credit the history (Burnley game) to one of the accounts

They say they cant fix the history, which personally I think is poor & needs looking at!!

Which one are you on PB? My current plan is the one 1240ish from Cherry Tree.

The direct train to Blackpool North is about 10 mins quicker and better rolling stock. Once there, Che Bar (Clifton Hotel) on Talbot Square facing North Pier and the Metropole Hotel adjacent North Pier both sell lager and smooth for £1.50 a pint. Watering holes near Blackpool South station are scarce and fairly shabby.

Thing is Hughsey, now isn't the time to be trying to sort it out because lots of people will be asking the same things . You can see why they wont change the history, because its very easy to say I went to this one, that one etc. when they didn't. Although that said, the Burnley one should definitely be attributed to someone's account because how else would they have got a ticket!?

I think there is a joint responsibility between people buying tickets at the TO. When I ring I always insist they take my customer numbers, whether they ask for them or not.

However I do think, that whether the away tickets are on open sale or just for st holders, they should ask for customer numbers by default, then say if you dont give them then the tickets cannot be held against your account.

We sorted it to get the Burnley tickets which was when we realised there was a problem. However, this is a rare occasion where last season's purchasing history needs to be carried on into this season. I had to produce season tickets to get away travel to the game where I didn't get the ticket put on my son's season ticket history but the ticket office hadn't needed it. I fully understand if I don't get my son's ticket, but it is frustrating, hence why I've made a note to myself to always remember to produce all customer numbers in future.

Yeah, me too... I think the Ticket office should be able to sort it for me this time.

For valentines day 2 years ago I took my heavily pregnant girlfriend on a tour of the Stella brewery... Looks like ne and Hughesy know how to show the ladies a good time T4E.

I usually take them to meet Bellamy11 and cn174. Your move.
