The thing is that if we had someone like Raul last year we could have finished 8th or even higher, that itself is another generates a few million in revenue. After all Dunn was our top scorer last year with 6 PL goals, yet we still somehow managed to finish 10th and with the amount of 1 on 1 roberts missed last season it could have been higher.

Im pretty sure he would fancy giving it a shot in the PL rather than germany (Schlake) where hes been taunted to be heading for a few weeks and still yet to go.

This move could further stenghten ties between rovers and Real madrid, as im sure they know Sam very well from his previous dealings with them.

Didnt Dunn get 9 in the league?

I think people are being too hard on S.Shah. Geeza don't need to be gunned for showing abit of excitment that Raul and Guti being linked with the club.

I don't think we will get them and I don't think we should, I reckon we should look else where, but fair play to ya Shah!

Stop sucking up to him. He's not the Shah you think he is. ;)

No harm in a bit of ambition is there  after all you can get Benjani if you want

Surely S.Shah is just stating what he is looking to do after the takeover right? Raul and Guti will certainly bring that RAZMATAZ that you are looking for Mr.Shah and I for one admire your ambition! How long until it is all finalised incidently Mr.Shah? ;)

God i hope not, i saw plenty of him at City and he is one of the worse strikers ive ever seen.

He's excellent outside of the box, he just can't finish for toffee.

A Turkish friend of mine has said Vassell is being linked with Blackburn in a Turkish paper. I mentioned it a few months ago but obviously nothing has happened. Probably just gossip again but has anyone else heard it too?

I've seen his name come up in BlackPOOL discussion. Hopefully your friend got the two mixed up!

Am I the only person that would be up for taking a risk on Vassell?

I reckon he could do a decent job as a wide striker in our formation, providing his pace is still there.

He is terrible! He wouldn't fit in to any system!

He makes Roberts look like a Sniper!

very strange comment.............a very very poor footballer

easier to explain the bermuda tringle than figure out how he got caps.

so the big question Mr Shah are you the Mr Shah we think you are & when do you think this uncertainty will end and the club is bought?

I dont think anyone actualy thinks that the S.Shah is the S.Shah

A little Not The 11'Clocker News...if you know what I mean.

Sounds like there has been a lot of foot-stamping behind the scenes in the last day or so.

Even some rumours that efforts are being made by the current regime and those ever-lovely Trustee types to fund a bid for a striker.

I don't have a name to give you, but there could actually be something done on that front shortly.

Let's face it, even if the Indians went to due diligence tomorrow that would take six weeks...which is when the window shuts.

Maybe some money will now be spent in this window after all...

See, it IS business as usual.
