Ricky Posted July 29, 2010 Author Posted July 29, 2010 Is that as reliable as the tevez already signed by Madrid story??
mattyc2422 Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Welbeck could be okay on loan. 19 is fairly young though, so we'd have to be sure that he'd be able to make an impact.
Bobby G Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Is that as reliable as the tevez already signed by Madrid story?? Well, Tevez has "signed" with Real Madrid. Watch the wordings used though!
Parsonblue Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Iranian media reporting that Teymourian is signing a contract with us. The LT is also carrying the story that he has had a medical and is discussing a short term contract with the Rovers.
John Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Iranian media reporting that Teymourian is signing a contract with us. Is he really going to make that much difference to us? Would expect the wages won't be too high however....
imy9 Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Suppose he might IF Grella leaves, fingers crossed on that one!
John Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Suppose he might IF Grella leaves, fingers crossed on that one! Just think we have enough average midfield players as it is.... Short term contract apparently so won't be as bad.
Ricky Posted July 29, 2010 Author Posted July 29, 2010 I guess it would be a replacement for Grella if Gala finally decide to buy him. I wonder if we might just hold offering taymourian a deal until after we've had a look at Faty to see which one would be the best option for us. Maybe we'll go for both and move Andrews on (If someone fancies making a bid for him). Shifting those 2 players out for £3-4m and getting 2 replacements on frees would give us a better transfer budget for a forward. Wishful thinking at the moment but it would certainly make sense if that's what sam is trying to do.
imy9 Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Wonder if someone is going to enlighten us as to why we may have a bigger budget as Nicko alluded to last night.
Craigman Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Wonder if someone is going to enlighten us as to why we may have a bigger budget as Nicko alluded to last night. Maybe the extra £2million from Grella's sale ?
philipl Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Teymourian is almost automatically going to be an improvement over Andrews.
John Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Teymourian is almost automatically going to be an improvement over Andrews. Where was Teymourian playing last season?
budha Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Where was Teymourian playing last season? Fulham's reserves.
G Somerset Rover Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 How do you know that Phillip? He's barely played for two years. Will be another Basturk IMO.
Iceman Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Is he really going to make that much difference to us? Would expect the wages won't be too high however.... He must have done something right, for Sam to offer him anything. I just hope that we move the likes of Grella and Andrews, and also Rigters. Out Grella Andrews Rigters Brown Zurab In Teymourian - Short term contract Faty - Shouldnt be a big fee Jo - Loan Jelevic - 3mill (if thats what his club wants) i think that would be good business, its just getting those players out of the club, that is the problem
AspRover Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Just a bit speculative but - It looks as though Hughes is going to Fulham. This won't affect us unduely but we all know about his tendency to sign players he knows. Most of the City squad will be a bit pricey for him (though I'd imagine bids for Bellamy and Roque are already being formulated), so do you recon he'll come after any of our players? Nelsen or Samba perhaps? I mean, I hope he doesn't, but its possible. In other news, according to sky two prem clubs are after Jon Stead, Blackpool are one, but the other? Surely not
brian_gallagher85 Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Teymourian is almost automatically going to be an improvement over Andrews. Fulham's reserves. Surely you mean Grella...at least both of the others could actually play most weeks...
thenodrog Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Maybe the extra £2million from Grella's sale ? If he goes it's cos Gala and ourselves will have agreed a severence / signing on amount. I don't think we'll be getting the entire 2m by any means. Teymourian is almost automatically going to be an improvement over Andrews. Spoke to a couple of Wanderers who are glad to see him go and reckon he is poor.
John Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Could see Hughes going for Samba. Sadly we don't have many other decent players, so can't see him going for anyone else!
T4E Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Spoke to a couple of Wanderers who are glad to see him go and reckon he is poor. I would suggest you dont take their opinions too seriously Gordon, they dont seem to know what they're talking about. Teymourian left Bolton 2 years ago.
American Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Englishmen are obviously mad. Whoever heard of such a combination? Pepperoni, maybe with a bit of onion, is the way to go. See above comment. Mad, I tell you, mad! In the train stations in Germany they advertise "American style tuna pizza." Having lived in America most of my life, I've never seen tuna pizza there before...
Balwer Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Surely you mean Grella...at least both of the others could actually play most weeks... Teymourian was more of a sicknote in his time at Fulham than Grella has been for us...
