Which players do you think they will be getting rid of?

Man City will get rid of Jo, Bellamy, Ireland, Roque [£8 million price tag still makes me laugh out loud], Michael Johnson plus a few kids like McGivern, Guidetti etc.

Farcical what has gone on there in the past couple of years.

Where was Teymourian playing last season?

Teymourian had ten games on loan at Barnsley last season too.

Neat player, honest lad...but this season's Basturk.

How can you say money is tight and then give him a contract?

are Bellamy, Ireland, Santa Cruz and Johnson all out of reach? That's four players who are on their way out, and who all would fit into our starting eleven perfectly.

About £20M worth out of reach?

Why ? is it because we raped them at £17m or is it because £8m is still too much?

Bellamy wants to go to Spurs and play in the Champions League.

Ireland fancies Aston Villa or Sunderland.

Roque is not up to the pace any more and would be better off in a slow European league.

Johnson has one or two wee problems.

Avoid that lot...

I forgot to mention Caicedo [wherever he is these days].

Pillaged would be a better word.

He is just not fit. Nobody is buying him and paying those wages.

Quite a few of those City players will end up as loans, frees and bargains at the dearest.

After they are left out of the Premier League squad they have virtually no value and are just a drain on wages.

Big trouble ahead on that subject for many.

Guidetti has been sensational on loan in the Swedish league this season, probably not ready for the PL yet but definitely one to watch.

Ireland to Villa as part of the deal which sees Milner going the other way is surely going to happen? It's one of those funny deals which is good for teams, when you throw in the extra money Villa will receive too.

On Roque...he looked nothing like an £18 million striker at the World Cup. In fact, he looked nothing like an £8 million striker. His legs seem to have gone.

Both Bellamy and Santa Cruz likely to accompany Hughes to Fulham according to the Grauniad.

What happened to the Cardiff Idea?.

I don't think the new people at Cardiff are finding things easy...like paying old bills.

Bellamy said he wanted to go there, the 'only place he could go' or something like that.

But now the reality is being squeezed out at Man City where he clearlt does not fancy the coach or playing in the Champions League with Spurs.

No-brainer.

I take it Keane will be moving on then?

You never know with Harry.

Cheers, Ince.

I don't think there is anyone in football I hate more than him. Here we are trying desperately to get rid of our £4 million Aussie crock for half that amount, whilst the 'prize we could have won' is being looked at by England's best clubs.

I hope Annan doesn't come over here, I'm not sure I could handle the constant reminder of his incompetence. At least the likes of Fowler disappear without a trace.

No you dont, he will find some way of bankrupting Spurs, just like the others he managed!!

The Annan link doesnt actually say anything though does it, Anthony wants one of the big clubs to come in for him. I'd like to play full back for Rovers - doesnt mean it will happen.

It says enough to make me hate him a tiny little bit more. :)

Could see Hughes going for Samba.

Sadly we don't have many other decent players, so can't see him going for anyone else!

If a good enough offer comes in then I think Sam has to say yes. I know it is a bit of gamble but with Jones and Hanley looking pretty solid I think it's one that Sam may need to make to strengthen the team, if he were to get all the cash to spend. With Nelsen and Givet as well we have a strong enough back line to not worry to much.

Bellamy will only go to Fulham when Spurs are playing there...

History shows that the only coach able to keep Bellamy out of the treatment room is Hughes. I will be most happy to see Tottenham giving Bellamy silly wages and then only being able to use him for 15 games...

Modes, we all know that is not going to happen. That money will probably be lost in translation ;)

Bellamy seems to have a lot of clubs that he supported as a child and will only play for....

The Sun story on Annan is the same as was doing the rounds after the WC, doubt he is what the big Prem clubs would be looking for.

Ince however did drop a huge clanger, that was two years ago, in that time he has progressed to a level that any mid table club would benefit from his addition.

"Do I not like that ....."
