We will play with 3 in the middle surely and they will be Nzonzi, Pedersen, & Dunn.

Of our current squad i would agree

Grella to Gala is very much back on...it fell down over the payment of the fee last time...that is being worked on...the player is interested in going.

:tu: thank the man upstairs.

I bloody hope this 2nd bid is not for Beattie, but for either Jo or Jelevic. Im assuming it would be the latter

Don't know if this has been mentioned before (recently at least) but the site calciomercato.com is reporting that Faty will travel to Blackburn next monday to start a trial.

They say he has not convinced Ranieri in the last trainings and that he is valued in €1 million and his contract ends in 2011.

this was mentioned a few pages back already

How much do you guys rate Klasnic? He certainly did better than our resident Croatian striker last season.

Tricky one is Klasnic. Clearly talented and scores goals. But his fitness is a bit of an issue in that he struggles to play full games, in fact I don't think he ever managed it for us. Understandable really with what he's been through.

I can't see him playing in anything other than a 2 up front, so can't see him suiting Sam unless you changed your system.

At Bolton he's a massive improvement over Elmander so I hope he comes here. Was on silly money for Nantes though so who knows?

He'll fit in perfectly here.

Grella is very, very, very .... injury prone.

The club is desperate to raise money from transfers.

Grella, when match fit, is a seriously good player.

I hate all the ridicule thrown at him by some on this board but, on balance of the above, reluctantly have to agree that Vince should go, and the sooner the better. Sorry Vince but it's the bigger picture that's important here.

I don't agree with this. Grella is an okay player when fit, not a seriously good player. Not any better than Nzonzi. Even if he was fully fit all the time he would be a candidte for departure as simply he does not offer enough, and we need to generate funds for a striker.

I have nothing against him, but no one has offered so little who cost so much since Grabbi, especially if you relativise the available transfer budgets.

Two very different opinions between the LET and Nicko. Let's just hope Nicko is right on this one and there has been a fresh approach for Grella.

Grella is totally useless in the prem, he may well have been a decent player in the italian leagues where his pace isnt an issue but in the prem he is out of his depth, Championship player at best.

It amazes me that anybody is willing to buy Grella for any ammount, he is just an average player that spends most of his time on the bench. Worst signing we have made for a long time.

He hasn't got the legs anymore Timmy.

Unfortunately we've never seen the "Serie A" Vince but we need to bite off anybody's hands whose offering £2 million.

I think "good when fit, which is never" covers him pretty well. He might not be Carl Lewis, but as a holding midfielder there really is no need for him to be running around the field. He's still able to do a good job for a Premier League club, when he's fit, which is never...

How has the Galatasaray medical staff fared with Kewell, the second most injury prone Australian the world has ever seen?

Who's our broad? And why was Riquelme on her? :P

ugh. sorry 'bout that. that's quite embarrassing!

Shift out Grella, get Faty in. Sounds like a good plan.

Get Fatty in???? We've ALREADY got Dunnie.

(sorry, couldn't resist-- i'll crawl back into my hole now).

I think the player we have biding for is Jelavic! Think Big Sam wants a target man in the team. He's a good at holding the ball and good header and finsher. So I hope it's him. Also think we need another striker aswell.

Hope that Grella goes. Has anybody ever seen Faty play?

What are you like!

Tell that to Robbie Savage.

Who just so happens to be the best midfielder of that type we've had in a long long time.

What I wouldnt give for one more season of him and Tugay.

I can't find mention of that anywhere in the article. Perhaps it has been removed because it has been discovered to be incorrect?

Curious, it was definitely there earlier as I read it myself

Ah, damn. So it's just been moved to its own article...saddening :(

It also says the move broke down over his personal terms, which is what I heard before. Whereas Nicko claims it was the fee.

I mentioned this a couple of days ago I think it was, as he was listed as a target in that Mail summary. Nobody seemed to care though lol
