I agree with this I don't know why the trend on hear is to slag Cryer off, maybe to get Nicko loyalty points?

If cryer did know the main target I would rather he kept it quiet.

It seems anything he says is criticised on here often unjustly

Almost always I would say. I know the LT is very often criticised by all and sundry in the readers letters for the many grammatical and spelling errors. But I would think that that is more down to the way papers are produced these days i.e. without a reader who used to root out all such errors before the paper went to print.

OH how we miss the days of Walter Galbraith!

I doubt if the LT employ sub-editors these days and even national newspapers are allowing reporters' copy to be published unchecked and unsubbed. There have been some real howlers in the Mail and Independent recently. Managements don't care about the lowering of standards however - they are happy to risk the occasional libel case in their continuing drive to cut costs and increase profits. Vote Labour.

I must have missed the part where these private institutions were nationalised.

I thought that his price was much higher than that? Buy him asap!

Btw, Nicko.. Any news on Tom Cleverly? Are Man Utd going to loan him out, and why are not we interested?

JELAVIC...sounds like Rapid are scared he leaves on a free...now or never, as I say.

CLEVERLEY...wants to go to Bolton, Sir Alex seems to agree...handy player.

if sam is such a big pal of fergie as he seems to keep alluding to, then why don't we get a sniff of the loanees...?

I don't think any attempt has been made by Rovers to sign Cleverley...maybe not the manager's type...I don't know.

Anyway, Teymourian is in the pipeline.

Nicko - the other day we had French versions of done deal etc for Grella...what's happening there? Is he going or not?

The last time I checked Grella's camp thought the deal was 'done' and would be completed. I am not calling them again as that must have been the fourth time I rang on the subject.

The people involved in his team have been straight with me before. I have no reason to doubt them.

If we assume the information you have is true, what do you think the hold up could be?
