If it gets towards the end of the transfer window and we still need two strikers (if we sell Roberts^) then we'll be absolutely desperate and teams will know this....

That's true, but it goes both ways if they're as desperate to offload surplus as we are with the likes of Zurab, Grella & Chimbonda. And a few quid + space on the wage bill from offloading Roberts will hopefully allow us to bring in a striker who can actually score goals.. (Just dont ask me who?!).

2 strikers wouldnt be unreasonable as things stand, but would be absolutely essential if Roberts goes, even tho Sam seems to have a curious aversion to fielding teams who look like they intend to score any goals.

As I have said many times now, Moa would be great for us. Young, not that expensive, wouldnt demand high wage, and he is a very talented player.

No chance on the takeover being sorted. I would imagine that Mid-September would be the very earliest providing that it is currently moving at one hundred miles an hour. By all reports, it's not.
