LeChuck Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Has that french squad been announced yet? Surely n'zonzi has to be in with a shout of a call up. He'll be a million miles from the French squad!

alexanders Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Ill tell you what Novella. We shift out Roberts to either QPR or West Brom and we bring in Jelavic and Moa. Its okey to dream isnt it?
LeChuck Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Ill tell you what Novella. We shift out Roberts to either QPR or West Brom and we bring in Jelavic and Moa. Its okey to dream isnt it? We could stretch to Jelavic and a freebie. Kalinic, Jelavic, Benjani/Ilan/Franco. I'd take that.
novella Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Ill tell you what Novella. We shift out Roberts to either QPR or West Brom and we bring in Jelavic and Moa. Its okey to dream isnt it? Yeah we can dream, but we have to assume that Moa and Jelavic will cost around 1.5 million and 4 million. Do we really have 5 - 6 million to play with even with roberts sold? If we sell Grella as well then we probably will but its going to have to happen really fast.
alexanders Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Nah. I am getting my hopes up that we sign Moa now. Very exciting prospect and probably for a knockdown price. Will be a full norwegian international in a year or two and has a good potential resale value. Hasnt Sam 4m to play with? + 1 m from the sale of Roberts. We give Rapid Vienna a better offer than Rangers. They are struggling economically as well and their bid may have been some potential add-ons and paying over time.
greggyk Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 QPR set to make a bid for Jason Roberts according to reports down here ....interesting I know...
neophox Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 A player I would love to see at Rovers is Swedish side Elfsborgs Stefan Ishizaki. He's 28 and a goalmachine from midfeld. Good technique and pace. Then Elfsborg also have Denni Avdic who have scored 17 goals this season and is only 21 and under 21-regular in Sweden with Martin Olsson.
alexanders Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Stefan Ishizaki didnt cut in the norwegian top division and he is also 28 years old. Do you think he would strengthen us?
Torgeir Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 A player I would love to see at Rovers is Swedish side Elfsborgs Stefan Ishizaki. He's 28 and a goalmachine from midfeld. Good technique and pace. Only remember him from Vålerenga. From what he showed there he's definitely not good enough for the Premier League. 12 caps and 0 goals for Sweden kind of confirms that as well
Iceman Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 if we have 2.5mill add 1mill to that for Roberts and 2mill for Grella. That is a grand total of 5.5mill 4mill for Jelevic 1.5 mill for Moa Faty in as well, and we good to go. Wages will come from Roberts, Grella to finance them i suppose. The sale of Grella and Roberts need to happen very quickly though.
Lee0r Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 From the LET... BLACKBURN Rovers are understood to be favourites to sign Mame Biram Diouf after Manchester United revealed they will allow the striker to go out on loan this season.
LeChuck Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 From the LET... BLACKBURN Rovers are understood to be favourites to sign Mame Biram Diouf after Manchester United revealed they will allow the striker to go out on loan this season. Brilliant news. That would really take the pressure off finding the main striker. It should mean no more links to likes of Benjani as well (unless Roberts leaves). Hopefully Sam's relationship with Sir Alex will see this one through, because I'm sure there will be plenty of other clubs happy to take him. Edit: He's also scored against Burnley. That should make him feel at home.
Lars-Erik Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Agreed, he seemed lightweight during his previous spell with Vålerenga. Although, he has an impressive goals to games-ratio in Allsvenskan the last years; 93/26
1864roverite Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Just been announced directly live from Old Trafford. wellbeck also to join Sunderland, sky sports news on the yellow ticker
BPF Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Just been announced directly live from Old Trafford. wellbeck also to join Sunderland, sky sports news on the yellow ticker Not that I don't believe you but I always need to double source everything. Can anyone else confirm that this is the case? Brilliant, we finally sign someone and noone is here...
1864roverite Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Put ssnews on and you can verify it yourself. Diouf has signed for a season but a review can be done in January. He is currently at Brockhall now meeting his new teammates. One bit of business concluded. Rovers now have some real pace up front and a player that can shoot and head a ball goalwards.

LeChuck Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 As soon as we get some linkable information it probably deserves it's own thread!
alexanders Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 I am very eager to find out whether he will cut it in the prem or not. Roberts out and Jela and Moa in now and we will have a very good strike force.
tony gale's mic Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Not overly enthused about this, however it's better than nothing. Another squad filler rather than anyone who will stand out, but right now I think we're all happy to take that.
brfcshabba Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Hopefully he will do a lot better than Di Santo
nicko Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Diouf from Man U on loan seems very likely. No relation.
Iceman Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 nothing on the official yet, unless Lee is busy setting up the press conference
