Is it a loan with a view to buy, Nicko? I expect it's a pure loan deal as ManU probably see a future in him.

He's quick, strong and athletic...looking forward to seeing him in a Rovers shirt.

Just a loan for now...but who knows what the next year brings...

Diouf`s X coach at Molde:

Mame has an incredible leap, does spectacular things and scores from all possible angles. He is the most perfect athlete I've ever seen. He was good in all ball sports."

Fergi on Diouf:

'He has adapted very well to our training regime and has looked very impressive,' Ferguson told Inside United.

He is quick, very good in the air and a good striker of the ball. Overall, he is a really good centre-forward

What are the rules now? Are we allowed one or two loan players?

Loaning out clubs usually try to stipulate that the loanee gets first team action so that might be a problem for signing two loan forwards.

I would go slow about a second loanee (if one is allowed) as I think there could be some interesting moves available as the 25 player squad deadline nears.

I can't see Jo coming in now, I reckon it was either Jo or Diouf in as the loan striker.

Interesting point. One Prem loan used up, one to go.

Mind you, Jo could always be 'freed' by Man City before the window if he is not in their 25 for the Premier League.

Definitely still on the look-out for more strikers, by the way.

Two from PL clubs. But just one from one club. So no more loanees from Utd.

Mr Nixon

just had an interesting txt regarding Reo Coker at Villa. It will be interesting to see if he plays in Villa game tonight (on tv) or whether he is elsewhere at this present time !

I dont suppose that you have heard anything similar regarding a potential move for him ?

How about midfielders?

Diouf will be better than Di Santo there is absolutly no way he could be worse.

I think you're being very unfair on Di Santo - when he was starting games regularly we were at the very bottom of our negative 4-5-1 phase. He usually played up front, on his own, with no-one within 40 yards of him. There isn't a striker on earth who can take on 4 defenders with no support for 90 mins and come out looking good.

This is the dirt cheap option...I think Man U sometimes pay the wages of players they loan out as long as they are playing...see if that is confirmed...

There are still two potential strikers to come...and Roberts to go.

But at least the fun has started.

It can take time sometimes...remember the messing with Benni?...so that would have to be pushed through to get him clear for next Saturday.

Still..at least we haven't waint 'til last minute <_<

Do you think they made that video as some kind of joke. Seriously that's like an elephant teaching a bird to fly

Not sure, I think the BBC might have mixed up their Sports Academy and Sports/Comic Relief though

It gets me through those dark winter Saturday afternoons when Jason has smashed another one straight at the keeper

Bah, does this look like a man who needs help in front of goal... :rover:

Potentially the most ironic video ever made.

Can't believe this has a +6 rating. Di Santo will never make it at this level.
