Chaddy is a tool to the highest degree.

However, he is bang on this time.

After he finished at golf, he came to mine for a quick game of Strip Poker.

His first hand, he only had a high card (Ace) easily beaten by my three of a kind (10's).

Amazingly, he went straight for his pants.

"Boy you're Keen" I said.

"Keane!? Do I have a story for you..." he replied.

I didn't say it was better to sell Chimbonda at all. I simply said that, in my opinion, Jacobsen is a better player. What is the point in selling the better player simply because we may have a buyer for him? My point on being more concise wasn't specifically about one post....it is the sheer number of posts asking the same bloody questions all the time. A rather baffling comparison with Hitler by the way, thanks for pointing out my stupidity, I can see why Keele University has a great reputation for being a centre of learning excellence :rolleyes:

And I can see why Cambridge has a reputation for conceited people that can't see past the ends of their own nose- so? Interesting pointless dig, but you digress, and so do I. Granted, you didn't directly state it was better to sell Chimbonda. But we can infer you either meant that we should, or that you're happy with our deluge of right backs when we're struggling to meet wage demands and transfer fees. You chose an odd post of his to be quoting and responding to verbosely, I was just observing the irony- apologies for not having plumbed the inner depths of your mind and discovered your true meaning on these points. And of course I wasn't comparing you to or Grella to Hitler. If you actually believe that, you're the one not paying attention to my post. (Enter classic eyeroll smiley to confirm my condescension)

Don't know whether this has been mentioned but on the official rovers website, the main page story 'Rovers ready for Celtic Test' says that Sam Allardyce left the game 20 minutes early to 'pursue a bit of business'. What could this be Nicko? New signing maybe?
