For what it's worth:

Phil Rawlins, one of the owners of Stoke, is also the owner of my local side, Austin Aztex. I was talking to him last night at our match, and he mentioned that's he's almost positive that Beattie will end up at Rovers. He was a little more coy on the idea of Tuncay being sold.

So I imagine that if Rovers still want him, we'll get Beattie.

He also said we're one of his picks for the drop, which was disconcerting.

;)Hmmmmm! I think it might also be a case of "alcohol ears" 1864 . From where we were sitting in the main stand the announcer clearly said it was Linganzi coming on.

I cant say iv heard of this Xavier guy, but his record is in Ligue 2 so we must be careful. I hope he isnt our main target

We need 3 strikers. If Beattie comes he can come as 4th choice. Any higher and I might be in agreement with Rawlins.

But it is pretty clear both are not wanted and it's a matter of tying up sales.
