As last week when you threw your dummy out you did state that Nicko knows nothing.

I have to say. that im very impressed with the way Sam is going about things at the moment. Okay, we struggling to sign strikers, but the trialists that have come in and the players that we are linked with, are all young lads. If we have no money, then we develop and bring in the youngsters. This can only be good for the club going forward, because over time we wont need to spend money, and if they do well, we sell them for good money.

So many questions, so little time.

ASSULIN - has a bad knee...broke down in training...that explains a lot.

BEATTIE - Rangers will struggle to pay his tax...cheap attempt to get Rivers to make a bigger bid?

JELAVIC - why would he go to Rangers now when he can show all the Premier League teams how good he is against Aston Villa this week?

NORWAY GAME - good spot by our Norwegian activists...no Rovers senior presence at game...bosses galore...fair point on 12-club rule...but there were about five or six players in the shop window...from what I hear nobody did that well on either side.

How many days until we hear the usual old b**locks about "keeping our powder dry"? :angry2:

I don't think we have any powder to keep dry, which is a result of paying plodders like Pedersen £30k+ grand a week.

How 90% of £40m goes into this squad's pockets is beyond me. Football has well and truly lost the plot.

Surely we can compete with that? We might not have £4 million right now, but surely we can justify the extra initial outlay when his wages are so low?

If we pay £2.5 million for a player on £30k a week, that sum total outlay would be almost exactly the same over two years.

Will he take a pay cut to guarantee he plays football for the season ? I'd say he might if it is indeed true that he's going to be omitted from Stoke's 25 man squad?

He scored for Croatia last night against Slovakia, I'm sure that will have pleased Rapid ! :)

Beattie is worth something similar to J Roberts so id say £750k- £1m....anything more from us and id be gutted!

Apparently QPR wanted Roberts but would only give him a 2 year deal & he wants 3.

I think by end of the window he will be gone...and perhaps Grella too.
