I think what he is trying to say is that you don't remember the good old days in the second and third divisions. When Rovers where struggling to pay the bills.But then again it could be that most people under 35 think that money grows on trees.

That's because they seem to be doing a better job at reinvesting their money than we do.

N'Zogbia and Rodallega will command large fees when they leave, McCarthy/Moses look like they will be at that level in a few years too.

Having said that, I've never seen Boselli play and players coming directly from South America often carry a high risk of failure.

Boyd has a good scoring record - so worth a risk...especially on a free....he is also on a low wage so shouldnt command too much to come here.

If Boyd is of average pace then even on a free transfer he would be a complete waste of money for Rovers.
