nicko i went to preston tonight to watch we need a forward soon and he might be crap but wat i so tonight he cant be as bad as we got up front after nicko cas we were @#/? up front :angry2:

We have been linked with Benjani for the last 3-4 transfer windows - Sam clearly rates him. Obviously finances are extremely tight, clock ticking until the start of the season, I can see us going for him (also with takeover talks going on too).

ASSULIN...no show from what I hear.

NEW FACES...no sign of anything before Australia.

BENJANI/ILAN...possibles, but in the 'desperate deadline deal' category.

TAKEOVER...another week passes, no progress.

It would be worrying if there weren't so many poor teams around elsewhere.

Reo-Coker wants to move. He could be as cheap as £1 million. But as of a minute ago there has been no Rovers move for him. His agent is Tony Finnegan who is known in these parts...

Nicko, any truth in the rumours that Fulham and Bolton are interested in Yebda? And are Rovers interested as well.

I still think he can play in the premier league this season.

Talking of players that Sam likes, Marc Zoro just returned to Benfica to meet Rui Costa and talk about his future. He has one year left in the contract and if Sam wants him, he might be worth less than £1 million.
