BPF Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 get stuffed u muppet u. The extra two letters make such a difference. I know that it is tiring but it will make such a difference to the quality of your posts if you can just summon up the extra energy to type 'yo' before your commonly used 'u'.

Tom 1 Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Are you serious Tom? Is this a viewpoint shared by many Villa fans? I will try to be brief as I don't want to drag your topic away. Not a majority no, but lots of Villa fans feel his time has come. Most frustrating manager ever, so good in some ways but fatally flawed in that he can't spend money wisely, his ego causes issues within the squad which is split between one group of players who love him (his favourites) and those who despise him (Reo-Coker, Shorey, L.Young and co). His football is ######, his invention in the market is ######, he's spent so much money. SO SO much money, just look through our transfers since hes arrived as I don't believe neutrals actually appreciate HOW much he has spent, it's crazy. For what we've spent, I am not looking at a squad even half as good as it could/should be. Imagine Moyes with our club and that money, we'd be a totally different and superior team. MON just can't leave his comfort zone, i'll support him while he's here obviously as thats just how you have to be as a fan and admittedly he's made big strides with the club, theres just no more we can do with him and i think we need to bin him for someone more shrewd and intelligent in the market, and someone who doesn't think lumping it to (and in fact, signing) emile heskey is intelligent.

OJRovers Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Lumping it up to Heskey...He'll fit right in as England manager!
Iceman Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 u. The extra two letters make such a difference. I know that it is tiring but it will make such a difference to the quality of your posts if you can just summon up the extra energy to type 'yo' before your commonly used 'u'. Yo, are you Nathanial in disguise? sorry back on topic, but i have to say, that Reo Coker for 1mill would be a good deal imo. Surely having him alongside nzonzi, would be better than Andrews or the never fit Grella. however, using 1mill out of our huge 2.5mill pot when we need a striker, would not be the wisest move i think. I wonder if we can take Reo Coker on loan, with a view to buy at the end of the season.
Presty On Tour Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 This has to be the most boring and slowest transfer window of all time! A few injurys and we could end up with Marco Rigters being used as a lone striker against the toffees opening day.
PAFELL Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Since our take over is moving slower than a drunken snail, I'm beginning to wonder if its all a smokescreen for the club to avoid signing any players. If we sign Benjani, I'll start digging the 6 foot hole. You may have to start digging. Rovers have no money to spend on transfer fees. But they need a striker at least before the season starts. If there is no takeover before then, what other striker is available for FREE. It ismaybe a no chioce situation. Unless we want the club to start selling players or put up match / season tickets. ( I wonder how many on here would advocate the latter, if it helped the club)
Mr. E Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 ASSULIN...no show from what I hear. NEW FACES...no sign of anything before Australia. BENJANI/ILAN...possibles, but in the 'desperate deadline deal' category. TAKEOVER...another week passes, no progress. It would be worrying if there weren't so many poor teams around elsewhere. I don't understand why JW and BFS aren't screaming their heads out. Are they completely powerless in all this and just waiting for the Trustees and the Indians to work out a deal? Two parties which seem to care little about the upcoming season if they're not speeding things up. Surely there is someone to explain to them that we need the money, however much it is, now?
boffster Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 hey bolton fan in peace but do also have a soft spot for the rovers as my dad is from there and supports them. was just wondering nicko if you know any news with bolton? whats the latest on the two real madrid youngsters? Thanks
blue/white Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 The Guardian's rumour mill reporting that Arsenal are in for Robinson (sorry if this has already been posted)! http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/jul/21/football-transfer-rumours-newcastle-raul Ay! Just ran onto here in a mild panic after reading that on the Gruniad.... any news regarding this bit?
Sandiway Blue Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 get stuffed u muppet Intelligent reply I see,I don`t normally comment on a poster`s use of the English language etc. but your post was completely unreadable and yet you have the cheek to label me a muppet? As opposed to reacting with an attitude of a 13year old chav, try reading your post again and see if it makes sense to you, because it sure as hell didn`t make sense to me and a lot of other posters.
nicko Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Still looking for a home... 16.27 BST: Marseille have reportedly turned down the chance to sign Guti, who is on the search for a new club.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Are teams put off by his wage demands and history of injuries?
chaddyrovers Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 i wonder if we are interest in Gary Hooper from Scunthorpe United? Good goalscoring record last season. Maybe we should take a chance on a championship striker.
67splitscreen Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Reading Sam's quotes in the LT this morning. If a striker is not signed soon we will have to sign a MF (Guti) ?? although we would have liked both.
67splitscreen Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 how is Andranik's progress on trial? Testing. There's a bit on tribal about him, probably taken from the LT.
nicko Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Are teams put off by his wage demands and history of injuries? I think he has spoken to all of the interested clubs and found out his dream £60,00-a-week contract is not on offer anywhere. That would be why he has gone back to Real, possibly looking for a pay off. Starting to think he is just looking for a final pay day. Avoid.
roversam Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Nicko is the market just waiting for a few deals to set the ball rolling or is it likely there will be little happening.
nicko Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Nicko is the market just waiting for a few deals to set the ball rolling or is it likely there will be little happening. In general it is pretty quiet. But most clubs have done the odd bit of business. There is a dangerous feeling in some places that you can get away without spending and still stay up. That may be the case, but it doesn't help progress. Any mid-table club signing four or five good players in this window will [a] guarantee safety and probably get their money back in a higher reward for finishing four or five places up the table. But if you don't have cash, you can't gamble.
roversam Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 im surprised your mate owen hasn't done more business, he can't be happy going into another season with megson's cloggers. Not sure were robbie blake fits in with the young and hungry targets.
