philipl Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 Any cheap kosher sites that anyone can recommend or are the ticket booths nr Leicester sq the cheapest? Using the Leicester Square booth- This is the only ticket office to be used in Leicester Square as it is the 'official' one and run by the society of west end theatres. Queue to the right for matinee performances and to the left for evening performances. Everything is listed either manually on boards or electronically on their newish toy. Expect to wait a while and remember you will not know you exact seat location until you have handed your money over; if you have specific requests you are less likely to be happy, ie I don't think you can ask for a seat with extra leg room etc. However you are guaranteed a good price on whatever you choose and although they do add their handling fee it's not as steep as most agencies charge. So the ticket price works out to be half of the face value plus £2.50. There is now http://www.discounttheatre.com/ and of course http://www.lastminute.com/site/entertainment/theatre/
