Eddie Posted September 13, 2010 Author Posted September 13, 2010 There's now a poll regarding the scoring changes.
sleepyjack Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Some great games today. Bears downing the Cowboys in Dallas was brilliant to watch, as was Favre effing up another for the Vikes and Houston coming back to beat the Redskins in overtime. Two amazing one handed catches from today:
T4E Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Both amazing but the Moss one is really special, at no point does he even bother to put two hands on it.
modes98 Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Giants return to normal form quite quickly. The number of turnovers and fumbles is just way too high. BJ chucking his helmet into the crowd as well. Need to pull themselves together in time for next week.
Rovermatt Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 I went to bed after Eli's interception in the second quarter. The Giants looked absolutely dreadful. The way they capitulated on the first drive was particularly galling. Seeing the Colts (one of the worst running teams in the league) ripping off huge gains against the vaunted Giants defence was indicative of the problems rife within the team. Don't even get me started on the stale, ponderous offensive play-calling. Coughlin can only stand looking confused with his hands on his hips so many times before fingers are pointed at him.
RibbleValleyRover Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 The Moss catch was brilliant. Revis might be one of the best CB's in the league but you can't always stop Randy. Another Packers win which is good to see. Still room for improvement though, Rodgers looked poor in the first half but a lot better in the second. Hopefully we can do a deal with the Bills for Marshawn Lynch, with Grant out for the season we need him badly. CM3 continues his great start to the season (amazing considering he missed pre-season) 6 sacks in two games so far. Finley continues to improve 4 catches for 104 yards against the Bills.
ABBEY Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 going to meet with some bronco fans on the sat night.meal and a few drinky poos..not finalised but if anyone is up for it let me know
American Rover12 Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Let the boy Sanchez throw the ball and see what happens! Great game. I hate the Pats so much. That Moss catch was something else though. Straight up beat Revis off the line and just casually made one of the best catches you'll see this season. Guy still has it.
Exiled_Rover Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Horrible coverage from 'the best CB in the league.' Perhaps you should have turned up to training camp you greedy @#/?. In far more interesting news: the Panthers are unleashing Clawesome on the NFL. The Super Bowl is coming to Charlotte.
HemelRover Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Not a good start for the 49'ers! Holding penalty negating a 40+ kick off return then a horrible 2nd snap and a safety. Talk about giving the saints a head start.
sleepyjack Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Glad to see the Saints win again, even if it wasn't pretty, but then I saw this news. Broncos WR Kenny McKinley was found dead today.
RibbleValleyRover Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Stayed up until 5 am watching the Pack lose to the Bears. You can't win the game when you commit 18 penalties (a new all time team record for the Packers) for 152 yards. Special teams were crap, especially that punt return short straight to Hester probably the most lethal return specialist in the game.
modes98 Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Lost my fantasy league game by .5. Had Rodgers and Forte and thought they would see me through but some dire Rushing stats in that game. Packers need to step it up or I've wasted my money backing them Mind you can't beat the Giants for mistakes and penalties. The game at the weekend was just awful, at times it was like they actually wanted to lose. 3 15 yards penalties for pushing players after the play was over right in front of the officials. Coughlin needs to get the dressing room back or he won't see the season out. Superbowl was a long time ago to New Yorkers.
ABBEY Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 HOLY SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIT WHAT A GAME ..WE LOVE OUR BRONCOS WE DO OH BRONCOS WE LOVE YOU IF WE COULD DO THE RED ZONE WE WOULD ROCK
sleepyjack Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Orton's getting a ton of yardage, Abs. Two tough games coming up though. Saints looking terrible but somehow pulled off a 16-14 win.
American Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 8-8 or 9-7 will be good for the Broncos considering all of the roster turnover. 2-3 years from now is the true judge of the new regime, as we were stalling out under Shanny. Lloyd is turning out to be a great replacement for Marshall as a starter and the defense is looking good.
RibbleValleyRover Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Saints looking terrible but somehow pulled off a 16-14 win. Not the only side looking terrible but sneaking a win. Packers sneaking the win today after being outplayed by the Lions in large parts of the game. Happy to get the win but i think our chances of going all the way this season are a bit too optimistic unless there is some radical improvement. No running game, special teams absolute crap, offensive line looking shaky, defense has been pretty poor. Hope we can do a deal with the Bills for Marshawn Lynch, with Grant out for the season we could do with him. Need a running game to take some pressure off A-Rod.
Exiled_Rover Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Orton's getting a ton of yardage, Abs. Two tough games coming up though. Saints looking terrible but somehow pulled off a 16-14 win. Don't tell me you're another front runner. .Oh and they won because without Otah the Panthers O-line is ###### atrocious.
T4E Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Orton's getting a ton of yardage, Abs. Two tough games coming up though. He's getting a ton of yardage between the 20s, I've lost count of the amount of times we've choked in the red zone already this season. Can't help thinking if he still had a go to guy like Marshall the Broncos could be better than .500 Peyton Hillis has scored 4 TDs for Cleveland this season, 322 yards already averaging 4.9. Trading him for Brady Quinn looks stupider by the day.
sleepyjack Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Don't tell me you're another front runner. Oh and they won because without Otah the Panthers O-line is ###### atrocious. And so is your QB. And you only have one WR. And your offense is predictable. Your whole team is in steep decline. Which, admittedly, makes the margin of the Saints win somewhat worrying. But you still suck.
American Rover12 Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Those Jets dont though! LT is a beast!
