PAFELL Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Blackpool v west ham in final I think I'll be wanting west ham to win, promotion may seem a long long loooong shot at the mo but they are the better of the teams and best out of the league Also Blackpool will be a game to look forward to I hate whu. But if they stay down, it will a fixture nearer to me (East Sussex) as will brighton, Charlton. Blackpool supporters chanted Kean Out last night so deserve promotion. I think if WHU do not go up, they could be in financial trouble. Think they went down with over 100m in debt.
Backroom Tom Posted May 19, 2012 Backroom Posted May 19, 2012 Spammers one up and the better team overall, Blackpool on top early on but snatched at chances. Normal sized sam on course to do the job he was appointed to do even if he made it hard work I'd rather play Blackpool next season to be fair I hate playing west ham Edit fair play to Sam for gettin the best out of vaz te as well
Salgado Is A Hero Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 Wasn't Vaz Te one of the best players in the Championship in the 1st half of the season for Barnsley? Wasn't that why they bought him? Lovely goal just scored by Blackpool. Can anyone remember the last time we beat West Ham? I know I can't.
frosty Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 Can anyone remember the last time we beat West Ham? I know I can't. 05/06 at home, Kuqi scored the winner I think.
sambo Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 05/06 at home, Kuqi scored the winner I think. 3-2 win I seem to remember. But I hate playing Wham.
Salgado Is A Hero Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 Oh yea I remember.....I think Dickov scored a penalty. I hate playing them as well.....I would class them as our bogey team.......but I suppose they did us a monumental favour by drawing with Man Utd in 1995 so we owe them quite a bit.
Backroom Tom Posted May 19, 2012 Backroom Posted May 19, 2012 Vaz te scores the probably winner late on The southern media rejoice
Waggy76 Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 Well done Sam , now take Kean and co. to court and show them up for the shysters they are !
Stuart Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 Didn't want City to win the Prem, didn't want West Ham to win the play-offs. But well done to Big Sam, he's shown what he is capable of. I expect they will replace him now he's done the necessary. One season of "necessary evil" without the "West Ham Way" will be put right now they're "back where they belong".
jim mk2 Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 Bitter sweet result. Wanted the Lancashire team to win but am pleased for Sam who will be able to stick a metaphorical two fingers at Ewood Park where the idiot owners saw fit to sack him and a section of idiot supporters wanted him out and were glad to see him gone.
cn174 Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 Well at least Blackpool is a much better away trip than West Ham.
Mattyblue Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 But well done to Big Sam, he's shown what he is capable of. I expect they will replace him now he's done the necessary. I don't think so, the Porn Bros are fairly loyal with managers.
Stuart Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 I don't think so, the Porn Bros are fairly loyal with managers. We'll see. The pressure from the "deluded" West Ham fans will be immense if they aren't challenging for European places by Christmas. In fact I'd go as far as to say he may well have it in his contract that he's on a mission to get promoted at the first time of asking - with a massive bonus attached. Quite telling that, when asked by the interviewer at the end of the game, whether he was looking forward to managing in the PL again, he dodged the question and said he was looking forward to the celebrations...
jim mk2 Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 West Ham's management should heed the lessons of Newcastle and Rovers and sack Sam Allardyce at their peril. Three southern teams replaced two Lancashire and a Midlands club in the PL. The suvvern media will be delighted.
