phew. We survived that. Great win considering we lost our best player 7 minutes in. But it was almost all Everton in the 2nd half, we tried to make them look like Chelsea or something. Really shouldn't have given them so much possession. But solid defensive display all around.

Diouf looks top class already, I say we sign him up now before United want him back.

Fantastic result. Still look a creative player short in midfield and we have to replace Roberts at least.

If Dunn isn't availabe then we only have Pedersen who can play a pass and he isn't that good at it!

Defence and keeper looked absolutely brilliant. We are well set up on that front. Get the feeling we could have a really good season if we sign two quality attacking players.

Fantastic! Brilliant defensive performance. Everton had loads of possession - as you'd expect of a side with the quality of their midfield - but we were gritty and probably had the better chances over all. Diouf looked promising and Jones was excellent. Only disappointment, I nipped to make a cup of tea and actually missed the goal!
