How come they have not been announced? This is normally done in early July. The only club I am aware of that has confirmed so far is Newcastle all the rest are just using last seasons for pre season games, or 1-11.

Maybe because there is no changes to the squad apart from a loan arrival, which will probably take Di Santo's number.

But you can't change numbers once you've given one, however I too think this may well have something to do it.

Salgado better be number 27, or else the club shop will be receiving an earful from me!

I went in the club shop yesterday and they told me not to get any names and numbers yet because they are very likely changing the numbers!!

I was told by a member of staff that the numbers would remain the same, unless there is a new signing. That prompted me to get 27 on the back of my shirt along with my name. If Salgado's number does change, I shall be contacting the club and expecting an exchange, as I was misinformed.

I got number 27 for a reason. I specifically said to the member of staff that will Salgado remain number 27, he said yes. So I went ahead with it.

Last year when I was in the shop buying a shirt, I remember there were signs in numerous places, stating Rovers would not be responsible for any changes, numbers or players.

Can't see them changing their policy.

I've never remembered the numbers being done early July

From what I can remember its generally this week sometime they are made public

Dioufy grabs 10 and Niko moves down to 14. NZonzi at 5 and Givet takes the vacant number 3 jersey. A few other changes as well. I got Warnock 3 on last seasons away shirt so made sure i got my own name and number this season.

El Hadj or Mame Diouf getting 10? Also wouldn't Roberts have to give up his current number for that to happen (not a surprise as he's on his way out but still...)
