DeadlyDirk Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 May as well shift Brown on that's for sure if he's suddenly 4th choice, Bunn and Fielding also have age on their side too.
mogster Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 It's not the First XI but they are all good players. This may be ok. I'd better go then...
Laurence Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Bit odd not to play Kalinic if he needs to get a few more goals...?
herbergeehh Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 On a side note, is Fielding seen as a future replacement for Robbo - is Brown and Bunn merely kept around for more instant cover+ Bunn did reasonably well for Shef Utd last season, I seem to remember him being highly rated when he signed too.. but surely it's time for Fielding to get some first team action, his England credentials taken into consideration++
Ricky Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Have you seen our striker options??? I think it makes perfect sense not to play him with the Arsenal game on Saturday.
herbergeehh Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Niko is our only striker at the moment - Mame Biram and Hoilett need goals though.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 It's a pretty decent squad I think. A few players there will find the match time valuable. I really hope Grella gets through 90mins but I have a feeling he won't last over 45 On a side note, is Fielding seen as a future replacement for Robbo - is Brown and Bunn merely kept around for more instant cover I think Brown is seen as a player who could be sold to increase our funds. He's had experience in the Premier League and he's been on the bench for a while now since joining us from Gillingham and wants first team football.
Derbyshire Blue Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 can someone tell the Radio Norfolk commentators that Norwich didn't have an average attendance last season larger than Rovers...cocks!
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Be nice to them. They might cut us off Seems like the game is live on BBC Norfolk. So far they haven't cut us off and the teams are ready to kick off. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO it cut me off.
RibbleValleyRover Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 You spoke too soon Tim! Ah well it was worth a try. Disgrace its not on radio lancs.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 sorry world Burnley losing 1-0 to Morecambe
rebelmswar Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Will someone please keep us updated. Thanks Tim.
Derbyshire Blue Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Not allowed to listen abroad now its about to kick off
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Live updates on Lancs Telegraph website. Only live text commentary though.
Derbyshire Blue Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 It'll have to be Basel in their Champs League qualifier on local TV for me then
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Chris Flanagan (LT): Samba appealing for a penalty after being wrestled by Ward from Pedersen's corner. No penalty this time though, unlike Saturday. This comment made me laugh: [Comment From Hot Cross Hot Cross: ] is grella injured yet lol
Nelsta Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 not getting comentery for any rovers games is really starting to pi55 me off.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Chris Flanagan (LT): It's all happening, Givet's tame shot is saved by Rudd, then Emerton fires wide from outside the box. Rovers definitely on top here.
Balwer Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Tons of chances, Mame's was apparently the best of the lot after a flick on from Samba which he fresh-aired. Pedersen also had a fantastic flick-on header from Emerton saved by their keeper. Can't buy a goal.
USRoverME Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Boo! Eagles leveled for Burnley... though even the BBC live text commentator is rooting against Burnley, sort of...
