MarkBRFC71 Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Seen more football in the first 20 mins than all last seasons home games. Is Sam off sick?

67splitscreen Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Let's be having you! Give him some **** I'm one of the guest but not for long.
MarkBRFC71 Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Grella looking very good, with him in we are passing it shorter. Mame lively. Final ball letting us down as usual though!
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Chris Flanagan (LT): Pedersen's long throw is flicked on at the near post by Samba, Diouf's unmarked at the back post to nod in from two yards.
Mr. E Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Nice, it was important to score before half time.
Kelbo Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Playing some nice football. How do you know that? Is it live in Paris?
67splitscreen Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 GOAL: Diouf from Pedersen Eddie how can you be watching from Paris.
USRoverME Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Who is complaining that Gamst's long throws never work?
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Watching a feed of the game. 100% jealous!
MarkBRFC71 Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Playing some nice, passing football. Begs the question: the players can obviously do it, even the second string, so why do we play hoofball a lot of the time in league games?
Eddie Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Get yourself some Arab and Chinese satellite channels and you can see just about anything, although like me you'd need radio rovers as well so that you don't have to listen to incomprehensible babble. It's a decent game, but you aren't missing out on much.

Because we're good enough to do it against fizzy pop sides, but we'd get routed by reasonably competent or better prem sides? perhaps?

Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Chris Flanagan (LT): No official attendance yet, that will probably come during the second half, but I'm guessing about 8,000.
Eddie Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Nice Bunn save. I'm afraid unless you have the satellite then I can't give a feed.
MarkBRFC71 Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Because we're good enough to do it against fizzy pop sides, but we'd get routed by reasonably competent or better prem sides? perhaps? Would be nice to see us at least try! I think it's the league tbh - there's so much pressure to remain in it that teams are inherently negative and play for draws. Add to that BFS is pretty negative in his outlook and I can see why we resort to the hoof. Having said that, since we scored we've pretty much sat back and hoofed it!
