Ricardo Faty who you had on trial is joining Aris Thessaloniki tomorrow.

Seem to recall Aris playing Bolton in the Fairs/UEFA/Europa cup a couple of years a go.

Great. Without Nicko this forum is next to nothing.

You are joking right?

Nicko's input is appreciated and passes the time but in theory all you are getting is the morning storys a few hours earlier, it changes nothing.

I wasn't part of it but the forum existed long before Nicko and by all accounts thrived back then and will continue to do so with or without any induvidual members (barring Glenn)

If I was Glenn, Claire or one of the mods who put in the time on this site I'd be a bit put out by that comment.

If the comment was in jest, ignore me, long day.

He'll be back, he gains more from the forum than the forum does from him. He can drum up interest in his stories and gain readers and hits while all we get is a story 5 minutes before it gets published on the Mirror website.

Alan Nixon is a sports journalist,, over the years he has acquired numerous contacts within the game and is quite knowledgable.

He wouldnt simply report something he heard, he would check it out first with one of his many contacts.

Unfortunately, this year, due to the financial situation at Rovers it has been difficult and I can count innumerous occassions he has been correct about other clubs dealings in the transfer market, if he didnt get things right, he would be down the road and Andy Cryer would take over :lol:

Give the guy a break, I look forward to his posts and they are normally pretty good, Reo Coker for one was spot on, situations change as he rightly pointed out 3 DAYS before it happenned (O'Neil Resignation)so dont be too quick to pass judgement and welcome the guy on here!!
