Anything that is wrote on that site needs to be took with a bucket of salt, it only gets busy in the summer holidays when the kids are of school.

None of the players on that list are worth that (that includes Benjani) and none of them would improve our team much apart from Jenas.

I'd be very happy with us signing Gyan, he would definitely make us a better side and would be a good player for Niko to partner. Jenas would improve us but is nothing really special.

Adebayor coming either this month or January

Is this serious? Good player but I couldn't see him coming to us. If he did he would probably be trouble...

have to wait and see if we get taken over. All looked good last Monday but Syed made a bit of a clown of himself in the few days after...

Gyan would be good.

Immaterial. We already have players who put a shift in. What we need is a striker who can put the ball in the onion bag on a frequent basis.

Short of buying Drogba I can scarcely think of a striker more suited to us than Adebayor. Would be a fantastic signing.

I thought syed wanted to build a good team over a period of time.a good team of good players that want to play football.now it seems we are after trouble causing money hungry players that only card about there wage packet and would sod off as soon as some one offere them a quid more.

How much would someone like Adebayor cost us anyway? Cant see City selling him at less than 10-12 million Pounds. However, he would easily guarantee 15 goals a season, although we would create far less opportunities than at his previous clubs. Plus, would we want his sulking body on the pitch?

Gyan is not worth 8 million at all. Had a good WC, but has never produced regular and consistent top quality form at the highest level yet. I would be happy at 5 million but Rennes wont even listen at that price.

That popov sounded alright but it wud depend on how long it wud take him to get adjusted. Ibrcic from hadjuk niko's best mate wud also be a smart buy linked together at split and he made most of nikos goals. So for a couple of million surely a risk worth taking.

No of course we don't want trouble makers who score 76 goals in 174 appearances for Prem clubs.

I am still chuckling at this post ten minutes after first reading it. We have no takeover (at the moment), no money, a hint that a player might be a target if if if, and Rovers fans are on the warpath against it.

Oh Ok. I can see that happening with Real Madrid. I could have sworn I read Brownie saying we would be getting him! Maybe he was taking the mickey and I didnt catch his drift! :P
