anyone know any developments on the popov deal

or have we turned elsewhere a la denny avdic personally id prefer popov,from what i hear avdic is a finisher but offers little else from play.

Id prefer both and no Benjani, no doubt itll cost to much though.

It would cost bout 3 and a half million plus add ons maybe if we can shift roberts and rigters we could afford.would be two great bargains but id say fergie wouldn't be pleased because it would mean more competition for mame diouf.

Dioufs staked a strong claim, and as Popovs not a centre forward(i hear hes more of a second striker) we definetly need a 3rd CF, thus why we are giving Benjani a trial. So getting Avdic would mean 3 Central striker all hungry and eager to impress.

im just using a few scenarios of a line up... you could either have E diouf or M Diouf play down the right, or you could have Popov or Avdic playing behind Kalinic, or alongside him.
