1864roverite Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Heskey is nothing much more than a pitch roller its just that Rovers just love to let him score against us. I am thoroughly disinterested in SA's tactical fluck ups. I cannot wait to hear his latest excuses.

BRFC1995 Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 some real tripe in our squad that gets really shown up when the few decent ones dont play.
Hi Mack Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Difficult to make an impression on a game if you only have 35% of the possession. We are playing poorly and not getting results so Sam can't justify these Sh1tty tactics anymore! The lack of transfer activity could cause us problems!
Shabani Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 We should be putting a full strength team out for games like his two games in a week should be easy for our players
philo Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 if only all matches were 45 mins long we'd be top of the league
booth Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 We are playing poorly and not getting results so Sam can't justify these Sh1tty tactics anymore! The lack of transfer activity could cause us problems! That and putting a very good central defender in midfield.
hollowsr Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 We should be putting a full strength team out for games like his two games in a week should be easy for our players Why?
Mattyblue Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 What a load of kneejerk nonsense being written on here. In the league we were poor against Fulham, rest of the season has been OK. We are losing away at Villa in the Carling Cup with a weakened side and the world is caving in. The guy got us to 10th last season and more than deserves a chance to get things moving. Jesus wept. ps, if you want to point fingers look at the board and the takeover saga for not letting Sam spend a penny in the toughest league in world football.
Guest bluerovers Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 C'mon guys, get with the strategy, Sam's keeping plenty in the tank for a run at a European place. we dont want to crowd the calendar too much. Well he's just thrown one way of getting to Europe in the bin tonight.....
Laurence Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 We are playing poorly and not getting results so Sam can't justify these Sh1tty tactics anymore! The lack of transfer activity could cause us problems! Exactly - for all his scientific approach he doesn't seem to notice that we can't score if we don't have the damn ball.
USRoverME Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 "Just sit back boys, They aint done much first half. They'll just do the same in the second" Now I'm confused, this doesn't match Dan's transcript....
Dan Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 We made Villa look like Barcelona second half. What do the Pro Sam brigade have to say? There is a pattern to the way this season is going and it is only heading one direction. We aren't too good to go down, Sam won't want that on his CV though, might spoil his chances of the Real job.
Guest bluerovers Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Chelsea are now drawing with the Toon, not even the consolation of them losing now it seems EDIT: spoke to soon, Newcastle 4, Chelsea 3
1864roverite Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Yes yr right mattyblue. He did weep just like many of us Rovers fans are starting too realising just how poor we have become. The midfield and general line up needs a shuffle starting with removing Jones from midfield. He is going to be a quality defender NOT a midfielder and this is the area where we are failing ourselves. Once and ONLY once Sam realises this we might move forward a little more.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 I remember the days when a day out at Wembley meant the world to everyone. Nowadays it seems like a good cup run is the last thing people want just for the sake of finishing midtable.
Dan Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Now I'm confused, this doesn't match Dan's transcript.... You are getting a bit repetitive now, that's the third time you've mention my 'transcript'. Care to share what you think he is instructing the team to do at half time instead of making stupid comments over and over?
dunc Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Beginning to think Sam has lost the plot here. Rants in the media, rumours of him being deeply unhappy with the takeover/transfer situation. Has he lost the dressing room? Talk about over the top! One poor performance against Fulham (which we drew not lost) and knocked out of the League Cup. Yes he must've lost the dressing room! Rovers fans couldn't be arsed to attend the semi final last season. Will these same fans be the ones angry about going out tonight? Unlucky against Birmingham, excellent against Everton, a great point against mega-millions Man City. Rants in the media? Looks like you've read headlines and not the quotes themselves. Anyone with half a brain cell could see he was being tongue in cheek. Then again sensible reactions don't fit some people's agendas.
USRoverME Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Jesus wept. Before or after he said to hoof it and sit back?
Iceman Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Sams tactics is ###### ######, enough of it please for goodness ###### sake

Thank the non-existant God that somebody can see sense in all of this world-ending gloom. Well said.
BRFC1995 Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 get roberts back in team........we are that utterly toothless at least he puts himself about and gets in scoring oppurtunities, does'nt take them mind but at least there is some sense of defending from the front when he plays. 1 in 4 or possibly 1 in 5 is about the scoring ratio of all our strikers so logically we need to play them all in every game to get 1 goal.....jesus we are rank.

Not sure that the rest of the season has been okay. Yes we finished 10th last season but the vast majority was absolute garbage that didn't even justify the cheap season ticket. When I went on the tour, every five minutes there was a comment by the tour guide about the way Sam plays football and how crap Andrews and Grella are, I've never known the club to be such a laughing stock before. It's like supporting Bolton years ago...

I'm not the one making grand proclamations of which I have no proof and no hope of getting proof.
