frosty Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 There was only one thing coming when they equalised.

BuckyRover Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Good stuff. I like it when things happen as I expect them.
USRoverME Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 That's that then. What the hell is happening in the second half of games this season? You told us already, BFS's halftime speeches. You've given us the transcript already.
BPF Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 What is it with us and the 2nd half? This side was never going to put us through. Becoming increasingly pathetic Sam.
beerwins Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Sadly that's probably exactly what happened, after all that's been the script in nearly every other game this season. In Sam's tiny mind it worked against Everton so it's got to work in the other 37 games right? Oh .... Oh well, I'll check back at full-time after I've finished watching Spooks. I'm going 3-1, Heskey hat-trick just to rub salt in the wound. Uncanny
Hi Mack Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 That's that then. What the hell is happening in the second half of games this season? 3-1...........That Everton game is hiding the cracks! We are awful! Sam has gone clueless!
Mr. E Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 yeah, this has just about crossed the line for me.
Nelsta Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Does Sam not realise that when tea goes in 1-0 down they are going to change tactics and go after the game? "Just sit back boys, They aint done much first half. They'll just do the same in the second"
RibbleValleyRover Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Beginning to think Sam has lost the plot here. Rants in the media, rumours of him being deeply unhappy with the takeover/transfer situation. Has he lost the dressing room?
BuckyRover Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 A win in the first game against Everton, then a series of defeats, a manager who makes you cringe when he opens his mouth. Sound familiar?
BRFC1995 Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 do we ever need some talent up front, go a goal up and the opposition must know thats all we will score, safe in the knowledge we collapse in 2nd halves. glad it ain't a league game is the only pathetic solice.
RIML Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 We'll lose 4-1. Mark my words. You could be right. City and Chelsea are losing, so it isn't too bad.
Nelsta Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Reminds me of ince's run.Good first game against Everton. Then did sod all.
Laurence Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Difficult to make an impression on a game if you only have 35% of the possession.
BPF Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 I don't want to be reactive and this is exactly what this kind of post is, but: I'm sick to death of us playing total s**t. I'm suddenly full of fear.
chaddyrovers Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 typical rovers. just cant defend for our lives. looks like we are not going to wemebly this season. we just cant perform in the second half of games.
Plastic Head Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Given our recent performances we must be one of the 3 favourites for relegation. Dire dire dire at the moment. Saturday is a massive game already. A win is a must.
BPF Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Post takeover...Bye bye Sam....Anything else would be madness
hollowsr Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Ah well that's the cup gone for a season. Not the end of the world by any means would much rather win on Saturday than tonight. 2nd goal I thought Bunn should have done better on, poor keeping at near post then missed the 3rd It's given a few a run out who haven't played much so far.
PAFELL Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 do we ever need some talent up front, go a goal up and the opposition must know thats all we will score, safe in the knowledge we collapse in 2nd halves. glad it ain't a league game is the only pathetic solice. Yet during the transfer window, how many on here said no to Heskey. Yet he scored and set up Villa's goal. Heskey bring not just a few goals but assists for the team.
BPF Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Let's face it, with the side Sam put out, there was clearly no interest in progressing further in this competition. Preston are drawing now, makes me feel a little better.
bigbrandjohn Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 C'mon guys, get with the strategy, Sam's keeping plenty in the tank for a run at a European place. we dont want to crowd the calendar too much.
