N'Zonzi must be confused as to why Jones (a defender) has taken his place after such a great season.

I think Nzonzi's form waned a bit towards the end of last season and in general people got a bit ahead of themselves. He often went missing in games towards the latter half. For your ball-winning midfielder, you want someone who gets around the place a bit more. I think a little bit of a "break" will do him good mentally to push onto the next level.

Pretty annoyed N'Zonzi is being left out all the time. Dont get me wrong Jones has done brilliant but didnt Sam say he'd have to be careful which games to play him in? Just dont think hes a natural midfielder and N'Zonzi is a perfect target for set peices/goal kicks.
