You are making a series of assumptions on the Trust none of which matches their actions thus far. Several suitors have turned up at Cinderella Towers with the readies to buy the matching shoe and the character to pass whatever Fit and Proper test most clubs would apply. The answer has to lie in the tetms of the Trust's appointment, The Times went to Murdoch because he had the cash and in a commercial sense was Fit and Proper as you put it. The Guardian however never would go to him because of the Scott Trust that owns it.

The terms of which are currently between God, the Trust and Jack Walker.

I don't know God. I don't know the Trust. But I do know who Jack Walker was. What Would JacK Want? Syed and the rest have just been told. If they have the right answer only then will he rest in peace. WWJW? The Gods, or the Trust, will decide.
