Sometimes, we have to be a little patient in the interest of the club's future.

I am sure we would all love to hear what's going on but sometimes when that comes into the public forum it jeopardizes the whole process.

Totally correct in my view. Careless talk costs lives! The short term buzz of hearing about inside track information will soon fade away if we were to unhook a good prospect who values privacy.

BRFCrule....

So far no plans for Syed to attend on saturday....that doesnt however rule out 'other' people.

Shah to go into DD - 50/50...possibly even 40/60 against.

Timescales - the board are CLEARLY in no rush, no urgent need to sell & plenty of interest in the club.

Ahead in the race - Still Syed for now.

I don't.

This must be killing you.

Why would it be killing me if I didnt know anything???

Now you should see why my comments of Syed still ahead, Shah no longer in 2nd & probably not as likley to enter DD, and also how its clear the Trust are in no rush become clear!! :xmas:

See the news article.....

"BRFCS also understands that there are other interested parties. There is the well-documented interest from Saurin Shah, who has told the Lancashire Telegraph that he is waiting to see how other bids develop before committing to due diligence.

BRFCS understands that this unnamed party has entered into the due diligence process, but club sources have stressed that it is important to understand the nature of due diligence. A party can, of course, agree to enter due diligence and complete it in any given timeframe as they see fit. "

Isn't his brother just a rich, if not more so? Anil, who was linked with Newcastle.

Brother is worth about half as much, although still more than Syed's alleged worth.

Hey lets have some craic here. About 70 quid each and we can do our own due diligance! :tu:

Least everyone would know why no money was spent in the summer then.

If you scroll back through the old thread, you will see that Julia herself said that the timescale for closing the deal was uncertain because of the nature of the seller- it is a Trust and has to abide by Trust rules.

First name terms now Gunner? Impressive.

Knowing Rovers, it'll definitely be the last one.

Goldberg would have a field day with Dev's past...

Hey there's quite a few unmarried kids and grandchilder of Uncle Jack lurking around..... maybe we could seal any deal in the time honoured traditional way.

No disrespect intended Kamy but you were building it up as if there'd been major developments. What was it that needed "sitting on" in that article?

There don't seem to have been any further significant developments and there's nothing that hasn't already been printed in the LT or elsewhere as far as I can see.

Looking at it from the outside it looks as though the whole thing is losing momentum. From being in a position where he wanted to complete before the end of the transfer window, Syed hasn't even applied to the PL for the owners test.

Shah seemingly won't stump up the due dilligence money and as for any other "mystery buyers" I'd put as much faith in them as "the mystery striker" until they're prepared to at least make their identity and interest known.
