Fife Rover Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Oh very funny Iceman......bloody hilarious (NOT)!!!!!!! Are you so dim that you can't see this boy is trying very hard to take note of the very unfair critisism he has received on this MB over a long period of time. He is a really nice guy who is trying his best with a bit of help from his friends to try and get to grips with his English (foreign language to him) and all you and a few more clowns can do is continually take the ######!! CUT IT OUT!!!!

CUT IT OUT!!!! Sorry, Fife. I don't normally disagree with you, but really, this time he's got it wrong. There is no point in constantly pestering with questions when they are impossible to answer. If anyone knew anything, they'd post it if it was for public consumption. Obviously nobody does know anything or if they do they can't say, so why pester?

Moppy Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Obviously nobody does know anything or if they do they can't say, so why pester? so why have this thread at all?

Obviously nobody does know anything or if they do they can't say, so why pester? Or would they mate? We've had the likes of Kamy and others on here for the last month pretending they're "in the know"..so to speak, when really they just relay press releases to the ones who can't be arsed spending too much time on the matter.... We need to know who is in the know.

CUT IT OUT!!!! Fife, calm down. Its okay to ask something, and if he has a bit of difficulty with the way he asks his questions, then fine. I also struggle with the english language, as i normally speak Afrikaans. Why the need to ask the same questions over and over again? Its become quite obvious, that nobody knows the answers to his questions, but yet it keeps being asked. jeez if you cannot handle a bit of good clean fun, then rather not post on here(not referring to you Fife). Im sure, that he has a bit of a laugh about it, if not, then ill apologise to him if he feels offended by it. Got to lighten up a bit around this place, some people are just taking things way too serious. we are all friends(ill give BRFCSRULE1 a good hug and kiss, ill throw one in for you as well Fife), ALL FOR ONE AND ONE FOR ALL!

We need to know who is in the know. for all the trouble Kamy has gone through in letting us know what is happening, and he has had to endure some abuse from certain members, there is now no need to make that sort of comment.
Jackson Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Oh Fife.....with all due respect, you are a bit of a fanny sometimes. That's a good line. I'm going to try it on my boss.
Hughesy Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Be interesting to see if anything happens on this in the next couple of days....I believe their was an intended completion date which will pass very soon - shall be interesting to see if anything happens. Do the club have to agree to the actual sale for someone to undertake the fit & proper test do we know?
den Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Do the club have to agree to the actual sale for someone to undertake the fit & proper test do we know? probably not Hughesy, but if we get to that stage, we can take it that the club are prepared to sell.
Hughesy Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 probably not Hughesy, but if we get to that stage, we can take it that the club are prepared to sell. Sorry - what I was getting at is, do they have to decide on WHO they will sell to, before we get a fit & proper test done??
deryck guyler's spoon Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Oh Fife.....with all due respect, you are a bit of a fanny sometimes. I think you're one of the better posters T4E but I dont think you've shown this particularly poster any respect at all by refering to him that way. He's one on here that actually does deserve some respect. Just my opinion like
nicko Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Do the club have to agree to the actual sale for someone to undertake the fit & proper test do we know? It's quite new ground, but the buyer would be better buying first before wasting time going to the Premier League. The Premier League thing has been exposed as a waste of time in the past, but Rovers will be an interesting case - if it ever gets that far. Mind you, how could the Premier stop a business deal from happening when you think about it? It's a bit of a sham although it should not be. I mean there is a convicted criminal who is director of a Premier League club right now and nothing has been done about banning him...
Hughesy Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Have you heard anything new on the takeover Nicko?
LeChuck Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Mind you, how could the Premier stop a business deal from happening when you think about it? It's a bit of a sham although it should not be. I've wondered this as well. I don't think it would have a cat in hell's chance of standing up in court if anyone decided to challenge the PL verdict.
Fife Rover Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 That's a good line. I'm going to try it on my boss. Be carefull Jackson.......he might not like being called Fife
nicko Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Have you heard anything new on the takeover Nicko? The last I heard [saturday] was that a lot of people are getting fed up with the whole process. Still no sign of Syed in the post code despite the fact that he has a new office in London. Still none of the 'rivals' being identified despite alleged meetings over the weekend. Part of me thinks there won't be a takeover at all.
Fife Rover Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Oh Fife.....with all due respect, you are a bit of a fanny sometimes. I fully accept that I am sometimes a boring old fart from the perspective of probably the majority of posters on here. That comes witht the territory of being a septaganarian, (and don't forget that it will eventually come to each one of you). However one thing I hope I am not and never will be is a heartless uncaring so-and-so. There are a few on here that would do well to give that thought some consideration.
rebelmswar Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Part of me thinks there won't be a takeover at all. Be careful with that Mr. Nixon, there are a lot of people that take you for gospel. Is it true? Don't tell me its true. Please?
philipl Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 The last I heard [saturday] was that a lot of people are getting fed up with the whole process. Still no sign of Syed in the post code despite the fact that he has a new office in London. Still none of the 'rivals' being identified despite alleged meetings over the weekend. Part of me thinks there won't be a takeover at all. Just going off what is in the public domain, Ali Syed has extended his due diligence period and that has cost him hard non-returnable cash so he is not going away any time soon. That might be a tactical move by Ali Syed to frustrate Messrs Shah and Mystery but all the indications point to those two not going away either and being willing to play the game long if that is how Syed wants it played. Time scales are getting elongated but I am holding to my line that when you get (at least) three determined bidders, the one thing you can practically rule out is the business not being sold unless the seller has a total change of heart. Given the Trust has been in this process for over three years, they can play it long as well. So I'd say give it at least another month before thinking in terms of no sale being more than the remotest possibility. Only then will the uncertainty resulting in disruption to the club operationally cause the Trustees to think in terms of setting a deadline for wannabe buyers and taking the club off the market for the time being if the deadline is missed.
nicko Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Be careful with that Mr. Nixon, there are a lot of people that take you for gospel. Is it true? Don't tell me its true. Please? I did say 'part.' Things that take this long rarely happen. Shah was in the mix for weeks before he became public and faded away slowly. Syed came in with a blaze of publicity and promises of a quick deal...and it still drags. No idea how far the other mystery Indians or the Aussies are down the line. However there is a vibe about 'is it worth it?' around in certain quarters.
AndyNeil Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Who is the vibe coming from, the buyers or the sellers (I presume)?
Torgeir Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 So then it's true that our owners are asking a hell of a lot more than first thought. Sold or not, Big Sam needs more backing from the owners in the transfer market - it's not like the trust are skint, correct?
Bobby G Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Who said our owners are asking for more? That is NOT the case.
